  African foliage v1.20 by Berghoff Addon release    
BergHoff has released an updated African foliage for ArmA II v1.20 addon on the BI Forums.

This addon contains 34 usable models that can be used too create a vast desert, savanna or jungle.

The addon was previously released for ArmA in a un-finished state but now I have ported it over to ArmA II and completed all models that were in prior releases.

I want to thank Icebreakr for testing the foliage on his nice Isla Duala.

  [OA + A2] ANZINS Weapons Addon release    
Defunkt has released an ANZINS Weapons addon for ArmA2 and Operation Arrowhead on the BI-Forums. This mod was created for use on our servers and retrofits guns from both A2 and OA with new OA features, in particular with some form of close-quarters sighting mode for several weapons with a magnifying optic.

I hate crosshairs but dislike being near-helpless inside 50m nearly as much. This mod was created for use on our servers and retrofits guns from both A2 and OA with new OA features, in particular with some form of close-quarters sighting mode for several weapons with a magnifying optic. In a few cases they've also had their correct TI shader added (or in one case losing the TI shader in order to achieve the CQB thing). I plan on doing a bit more but need some help adding/fixing lens effects and with some config work for the G36's which have defied my best efforts so far.

  RKSL RAF Eurofighter Typhoon FGR4 beta1.0 released Addon release    
RKSL-Rock from the RKSL Studios has release a RKSL RAF Eurofighter Typhoon FGR4 beta1.0 addon on the BI Forums.

This addon is intended to represent the Royal Air Force's EuroFighter Typhoon FGR4 only. No other national version is included at this time.

A word about "Realism"
It includes some features and capabilities that current serving aircraft have not been given yet. We've taken the liberty of trying to represent a fully capable aircraft that can support the widest possible range of weapons and roles. For the RAF's FGR4 at least this level of capability should only be 2-3 years away according to media sources.

  OA - [SP/COOP] Garden of Eden by laggy Addon release    

Laggy has released a [SP/COOP] Garden of Eden v0.90beta mission on the BI Forums.

Mission description: As Delta Force and a Helo Team your job is to hunt down insurgents in Takistan.



Important: In MP, pick primary and secondary player units first. This mission can be quite hard to master in SP, but it works perfectly if you are an experienced player. Keep your cool and make sure how to use teamSwitch and how to lead your units. Helo training is also useful. Read the briefing carefully.

Missionwork: My first mission in OA. The tasks are quite randomized which should hopefully make replay value high. The mission design really makes the new FLIR effect important. I hope I have achieved some realistic feel, but mostly a good atmosphere. Custom sounds, dialogue and scripts.

Hi all,
here are the new version of my SoundMod for ArmA2 Operation Arrowhead, @eliassound2OA.
i use lots of the sounds frome eliassound2, but some sounds are new or reworked.
and i made lots of Operation Arrowhead sounds new.
As always atmo is the most important.
That's the reason for the few new weapon sounds.
The special news are:

environsound:
new town sound (day/nigt.)
delete the sea sound.
add new wind and addsounds.

vehicles/tanks/plains (chopper comes later)
add to the new OA vehicles,tanks and plains some sounds like
chain, wind, noise, wheel and lots more.
add new engine off sounds fore the M113, T55, T34.
push up tire loudness fore all vehicles in config.
add 3 new Rc sounds, us, russia, arabia style to all vehicles.

weapons:
this sounds are new or reworked.
M256, D81, gau8, DMR, SVD, G36, M240, M249.(thx to Yokhanan fore help)
this sounds are brand new.
M60, SA58, Glock17, Revolver45(remove casingdropsound), LeeEnfield, M14 (now singel and full auto fire)

  ACE 2 : version 1.3 stable released Addon release    

The final ACE 2 : version 1.3 stable for ArmA2 has been released and Xeno has informed the community of the release of ACE2 for ArmA2:Operation Arrowhead on the BI Forums.

  GLT FLC (FLIR & Countermeasures) Addon release    
Legislator has released an GLT FLC (FLIR & Countermeasures) addon on the BI-Forums. This addon adds the FLIR system of Operation Arrowhead to some choppers and tanks of ArmA II. You will need Operation Arrowhead to get this working.

I made this because most of the ArmA II vehicles don't use the new FLIR system by default. Additionally I added countermeasures to the UH-1Y and MV-22. Each config file works separelty from each other so you can decide which vehicle will get the FLIR.
Please be aware that not every vehicle will get FLIR, like T-72, UH-1D and Mi-24D. If someone wants the new FLIR system on those vehicles (or others) he can use this addon as a pattern for it.

Hint: This addon works clientside only. Server admins will have to take care to allow / not allow this addon on PvP servers. It may be considered cheating because some players might get advantages over others.

  Two new Community Base Addons ! Addon release    

Killswitch has released 2 versions of the Community Base Addons on the BI Forums. CBA is a system that offers a range of features for addon-makers and mission designers and aims to have community wide acceptance and to be used as much as possible by community addons to maintain compatibility. You can read about CBA in general here.

Here are two new CBA releases for you:

* CBA v0.4.2 for use with classic ArmA II.
* CBA v0.5.0 for Combined Operations and Operation Arrowhead users.

The new 0.5.0 release contains a @CBA that has been updated for the content in OA and also a @CBA_OA that users of standalone Arrowhead installations need to use in addition to @CBA

What do I download?
* If you're still on ArmA II, download the 0.4.2 version and use -mod=@CBA
* If you have a merged "Combined Operations" installation with both Arma II and Arrowhead, download 0.5.0 and use -mod=@CBA

  VopSound 2.2 released Addon release    
v0.2 has released version 2.2 of his great VopSound mod on the BI-Forums.

I'm happy to announce the third release of VopSound for ArmA2.
It has been a long time since the last version but 967 of edited and reedited and rereedited sounds later, I decided to release it in its current status as I'm getting OA in the next week.
I won't have internet in the next few days so please be patient if minor problems occur, which could be possible, because we didn't test it too much. Should be nothing gamebreaking though.
I'm planning to port it over to OA and eagerly anticipating tpm's HARCP and will make it compatible.
And no, no video. Don't ask. Propably someone takes some time and will make one.

  Edited ACR Troops by Sabre Addon release    
Sabre has released his Edited ACR Troops on the BI-Forums. They're placeholder ACR Soldiers in Woodland and an Edited Desert Camouflage.

Well this started out as just a quick edit of the tones of the desert camouflage to what I personally preferred, along the way I decided to add little things and eventually thought i'd try and add a quick woodland version aswell. Would have been out sooner if not for some repeated errors I have been getting while trying upload sites.
They are not perfect and are just intended as a placeholder or gap filler until someone else wants to update the CZ troops properly with new models and what not to suite there upgrade in some gear.

Fox '09 has released a wip version of his Special Forces Multicam v0.8 units on the BI-Forums.

Some Multicam pant guys. WIP, PBO etc will be fixed, it is named "OD" because I originally was doing an olive drab reskin.
