And Fokker VII of the German Imperial Army in the painting of the Jasta 15. Detailed information is contained in the readme files. Requires PKW_WWI Pilots.

Madbull from the [R3F] Team has released his [R3F] Artillery and Logistic: Manual artillery and advanced logistic (mission script) on the BI Forums.
The [R3F] Artillery and Logistic is a mission-script system which revolutionizes the way to play about the logistic and artillery. This system permits to play in a realistic manner and fills a lack in ArmA 2.
The logistic part of the system permits to transport and to position any equipment type (ammo, static weapon, MASH, sandbag, ...) by different methods (lift, tow, load in cargo).
The artillery part of the system offers the possibility to the leader of an artillery battery to compute fire solutions (gun orientation, ...) according to the forward observer indications. Then the leader of an artillery battery can transmit the fire orders to the gunners. The gunners orient their guns (or mortars) according to the angles of the fire order.
The two systems (artillery and logistic) are released together because they are complementary and it requires only one installation. However it is possible to disable the artillery features and keep only the logistic ones.
Edit 24/01/10: v 1.1 released
v1.1 - Fix of a bug with velocity of objects with ACE2 - Add the possibility to have a non-movable artillery command quarter - Some additionnal precisions in the explanation about the ballistic table generation
Edit 25/01/10 14:35 : Madbull informed us about the release of a tweaked 1.1 version, so a reload of the script pack is needed.
Dimitri_Harkov has released an updated - 1.2 - version of his 1970s Generic African Units addon on the BI Forums.
New in 1.2: -Portugal - a new faction has been added. -thanks to ObmaR, UNITA and Portugal now have three versions of the SA 330 Puma helicopter each. -all sides now have proper supply/reammo/repair/refuel trucks for warfare -MPLA: jet pilot, BTR-60 APC, PT-76 amphibious light recon tank added -some weapon loadouts have been changed (again!).
Beton has released an updated - 1.1- version of his Winter Nome Island and an updated version -v1.32- of his Beton Addons on the BI Forums and added a Summer version of Nome Island.
Nome Island Winter Vers: 1.1 for Arma 2 ... This island was mostly for testing. I decided to make it a little nicer and release it. Inspired by the area around Nome in Alaska. A fictional island not far from the coast. Its a very small map (about 4x4 kilometres) with an island. You can find two small settlements and a lighthouse connected by a small road. The island is mostly covered with snow and has many rocky areas. There is not much but mostly custom vegetation but the bumpy ground and the rocks may give good cover for infantry. ... Changes in v1.1: - terraingrid changed for more performance - added and moved some plants, rocks and some objects for testing - minor changes to satmap and cluttersettings ... Betons Addons:
These addons contain all the custom made objects like plants, buildings etc. which are needed for my maps. There will be updates every now and then. The updates wil be available as full download and as cumulative patch for the ones who already have the previous version. Ill try to keep the addons downwards compatible so you only need the latest version. Atm the objects are only suitable for mapmakers as the don´t appear in the editor yet.
Massi informed us that he released a retexture version v1.0 of the 75th Ranger regiment units (US Army Rangers ) and comes in 4 different camouflages.
This Addon is a retexture of USMC Force Recon assault units, in order to represent the US Army Ranger working in different environment. The Units will be found in the editor under BLUFOR >> US Army Rangers,(same for the groups), sorted by the different camouflage of the uniforms they're wearing
Put the addons in the "mod folder" of your preference, you will find the units in the editor under: Bluefor - US Army Rangers (sorted by different camos)
you'll find groups also under: Bluefor - US Army Rangers (same way).
Massi has released a newer version v1.05 of his Italian Spec Ops on our forums.
v1.05 date 18/Jan/2010
-Totally reworked SOF Ranger "vegetata" temperate and desert uniforms textures. -Reworked Navy SF "multicam" and woodland uniforms textures. -Updated and improved all the other units' uniforms textures. -Added a model without hat in SF Light recon units. -SOLVED: issue causing change of texture in Low Resolution LODs, now the units keep their texture also at FAR distances. The problem was affecting every units, specially noticiable on white and desert camo's units that turned green at far distances , NOW solved, and ALL the UNITS KEEP their own camo at every distance
owl has released a French Special Forces units pack on the ArmA-Fr.net Forums. IMEX units are in an Alpha, yet unfinished state. Needed FAMAS addon included.
COS - BETA Version - DeltaFr IMEX – ALPHA Version -
This addon adds fictive French Special Forces units to ArmA2. Regarding COS, it's a BIS Special Forces units re-texturing using a CE Camo. Speaking of IMEX, it's a tribute (even if they are build with far less talent ...) to dashing units you can find under the same name in the OFrP Mod for BIS Operation FlashPoint
Charon Productions has released finally a beta version v0.8 of The Undead Mod on the BI Forums.
This mod is doing the impossible of simulating zombies in a military simulation that does not support melee attacks, indoor scenarios and many other things that had to be artificially created with this mod.
Most attention was put onto atmosphere, sounds and the infection spread and its dynamics unseen before in any zombie mod.
All 100+ civilians have textured zombie models and most BLUFOR units also. Plus there is an infected "hound". The units can be found under the resistance side in the editor.
Whole islands can be infected with the new virtual infection and migration systems.
If you have a problem with minor bugs in a mod, better purchase one of the console-type zed games and smile.
Due to the nature and complexity of this it will probably remain in beta status with no big guarantee for enormous future updates due to lack of development time. I will try to fix any significant issues.
Known Issues: - No MP (Multiplayer) compatibility of all the features - Undead can pass through walls, so can vanilla arma units ! - Undead can warp some distance when shot or bumping at a certain speed into something - It can also rarely occur, that a whole undead group does nothing and just stand around even though it has correct waypoints (Arma2-pathfinding hang-up problem) - The player does not take falling damage when friendlyfire is disabled - Some towns are not correctly declared infection-free on the map once all zeds are killed.
Thanks to JW Custom for setting up a working mirror on the BI Forums
Aeneas2020 has released a new version v2.0 of his Royal Netherlands Army (Dutch Army). Make sure to delete the old version before using these!
NEW FOR VERSION 2.0:
- Totally new models for the soldiers - New normal maps representing a more accurate version of dutch troops. Including Helmet net thing and body armor - Put flag patch on correct arm - Addons now signed and server keyed - Changed the textures entirely so that they are now more in keeping with dutch DPM/DCU - Fixed config error that could occur when switching between temperate and desert units on a server. - A bunch more things i'm forgetting because i'm tired
Known Issues: ============= Again these are just BI model reskins so don't expect miracles....they are not 100% accurate - The wound textures aren't working at the moment, will fix in next upate. - The normal maps aren't great again will work on improving them next update.
After a long beta duration and little time to work on it, here is my ArmA2 Famas 5.56 F1 addon. This is a stable version even if shadows are lacking because I still have small issues with them. At the moment, includes:
- Famas 5.56 F1 - Famas Weapon box - Famas Ammo box
DMarwick released his JTD ClearHorizons addons wich removes the painted-on fake mountains and gives you a clear horizon. The first pic is how it was, second is after applying the addon.
OK several people have asked for this WIP to be released, so here it is It basically removes the painted-on fake mountains and gives you a clear horizon, so the only hills & mountains you'll see now in Utes & Chernarus are "real" ones
I had a bug before where I wasn't getting any ingame sky, only white. Now that I have a nice new graphic card fitted, I'm seeing skies again, hence I can finish this off
