kherro informed us that addonmaker Peloton published new WIP pictures from a Spanish Eurofighter Typhoon, which is planned for the next FFAA MOD update.
The Eurofighter is a multi-role combat aircraft developed by Germany, Italy, Spain and Britain in co-production. In Germany, the development was initially under the name Hunter 90, the first deliveries were made under the name of the Eurofighter 2000, is the current name, the year of 2000 no longer run. In Austria and Germany, the plane bears the name of the Eurofighter, but we do.
Beton has released some teasing WIP pictures of his upcoming Hurtgenwald map on the BI Forums.
Id like to show you first pictures from the map im working on at the moment. It will feature the area around Hurtgenwald and Schmidt. I begun with the map with WW2 setting in mind. Since Arma2 gave me autum plants i can not finish Omahabeach at the moment. The Battle for Hurtgenforest began oct. 6th 1944 and ended about five months later. You will find a mixture of dense forests and plains with nearly no tree at all. The higher parts of the map will have snowtextures since the winter came early in 1944....
At the moment i have only roads and a big part of the plants finished... the buildings are yet to come...
kherro has informed us about the release of a new picture of an FDF vehicle, now a Land-Rover Defender on the FDF web site.
The legendary British Land Rover brand entered FDF service in 2000. Land Rover 5D Defender seen here is a four wheel drive cross-country vehicle that is used for troop and equipment transport. It was purchased to replace the aging Toyota Land Cruisers and Soviet UAZ utility vehicles.
This update addresses the multiplayer dedicated server issue. All tanks can now run on a dedi without asking for missing texture files(providing you've loaded the rvmats into the tracked.pbo) All you do is de-pbo the tracked.pbo and add the included rvmats to the data\detailmappy directory.
If you DON'T do this, what will happen is the game will nag you about it on startup and the textures will be flat/matt without the ArmaII "shinyness" (no biggy really but I personally like the shiny textures better).
IceBreakr released two new screenshots on the BI Forums showing the latest build of his island which should be released for the public in the near future.
There are still open issues before I can release v2.3: - *fix config so gas station "Schnell" and "army fuel stations" can explode - *resolve bumpmapping gfx error in pebble and field texture - remove grass from tarmac in three airports - check AI landing/takeoff points for all major airports - connect a island on SouthWest surrounded by river to the "continent" with bridges, roads and new big settlement. - config and intro-logo fix stating v2.3 in select island screen - sign files (server keys) for admins - add bonus mission Crooks v1.3 for Chernarus & Panthera!

It is making it by a slow pace. The cockpit and the texture are being made. Cockpit 20%. Texture 75%. think that I put out the beta version when all textures of the airframe end.
