TeRp from the BW Mod has informed us about the release of BWMod WIP screenshots featuring soldiers and 5t truck on the BW Mod site.
Hey guys. We've posted some screenshots of our addons over on our site. First couple of screenshots show the latest version of our infantry by metalchris (changes: revised textures by Snorri, detailmaps, all lods done..). The other screens show the current beta version of our LKW 5t, model by frankyman & textures by snorri. There's two versions of the 5t, there's a repair truck as well as a fuel truck. The upcoming versions will most likely have more variants of the 5t.
DMarwick has informed us about the release of and updated -beta02- version of his JTD Fire And Smoke addon.
JTD_FireAndSmoke v0.2 changes: -More smoke particle texture variance. -Altered smoke colours. -Fire damage now per-tree instead of per-area. -Fire colour changed to orange, also user configurable. -Minor config fix. -Forest fire sound added. -Vehicles have altitude check before emitting fire & smoke. -User config path changed to ArmA2\userconfig\JTD\ -Keys added.
IMPORTANT INFO The JTD_FireAndSmoke_config.hpp file now must go into a new folder, ArmA2\userconfig\JTD\. If you do not have this path/folder, make one. This is apparently a standard of approach that modders will be encouraged to use.
Rellikki has informed us about his projects and has released a CRA troops WIP screenshot on the BI Forums.
The units present in the picture are armoured crewmen - Tank crewman and APC crewman. Those, along with many other kind of different looking units, are part of the upcoming updates for my CRA (Chernarussian Red Army) troops addOn. I'm hoping to add a lot of variety for the units to open as many possibilities as possible for mission makers using my addOn. Of course, I'm still all open for new ideas.
Cybergirl from the French FAFw Mod has released new screenshots of the upcoming Mod units on the ArmA-Fr.net Forums. These screens are showing a SuperEtendard, a Transall, a Tigre and a Leclerc MTB.
Jarger has informed us about the release of a screenshot featuring a Leopard 2A4 on the FDF Mod site. This beast from Germany touched the Finnish soil for the first time in April 2003. Total of 124 new Leopard main battle tanks replaced old T-72s giving a great amount of performance compared to it's old Soviet rival. The chobham-layered 55 000 kg steel monster is equipped with a hard-biting 120mm Rheinmetall smoothbore main gun and two 7.62x51mm MG 3 machine guns.
Solus has released a "Ragdoll" effect for killed units falling from buildings on the BI Forums.
Here's an addon I was working on: It make bodies attach to a physics object and fall down if they are above the ground, and then removes the object when they come to a stop. This is to reduce situations where people are sticking out over the sides of ledges. There didn't seem to be any serious bugs when testing it, and it should work independently of other SLX addons. It may need an update for MP which will come soon after someone can test it out in MP.
arremba_san_zorzo from the Pedagne Mod has informed us about their WIP and send us new in-game screenshots featuring wheeled armored vehicles. Hi, after a run started two years ago, today i'm proud to display first images in-game of two of numerous models of "WHEELED" section of PedagneMOD. I'm speaking about blindo Puma, blindo 6614, truck ACTL (thanks to Lobo of FFAA), truck ACM90, 4x4 car VM90, Land Rover, blindo car Lince (another thanks to Lobo), Hilux 5 seats.......all in various versions. Models have been created for both Arma and Arma2 with one file 3d. Only some little adjustments on proxy and config, needed to differentiate the game. There are still many bugs to fix and many vehicles to adjust, but now you can see only screenshot in-game. Stop with screenshoot by buldozer.....My models go out from the drawer. Weekly i will inform you about the work in progress in different models. This is the first result of new collaborations of Nembo and Dedalo. Thanks to them, never forget all old collaborations of the PedagneMOD... Bie Arremba

Fortran has released stunning WIP screenshots from his F-117A NightHawk cockpit on the BI Forums.
Just a pre-update on the F-117A cockpit which I have been hacking away at for the past couple of weeks. Been texturing all "moving" components and now have all animations/gauges completed, working ...
Have tried my best to make every gauge as accurate to the in-game world as possible so the player can fly entirely by the panels if needed.
Texture work is getting done, as I said at the top, all moving parts/gauges are textured, just need to tweak them and then move onto the side (arm) panels and the rest of the cockpit itself. So far only diffuse, no spec or normal maps. Will run another update in about a week with a video walkthrough of the cockpit and its various panels.
tpM informed us that he recently posted new ACE Mod 2 teasers featuring : air refueling, M107 Muzzleblast, firing an RPG-7 from prone position, goggle/headgear sys. and weapon resting, on the BI Forums.
