Emery informed and send us news that he is working on Gachopin's MH53E, for use of transporting his upcoming WIP F.A.V Buggy.
I got permissions to use Gachopin's MH53E. We are going to make it so you can drive it in the back for transport for the buggys. We will be doing a full retexture of the MH53E and some other small mods to the p3d, like i have sead before me and Ruben are taking our time with this so we can make a realy good addon for all to have fun with.
I would like to thank Gachopin verry much for letting us have his MH35E i had started making our own but now we dont have to. This will save alot of time and pain. Keep an eye on the F.A.V thread for more updates. I will be making a movie sometime next week with our progress
Aussie published several new pictures of their Australia Island on the BI Forums.
Hi all, were slowly getting the island up and running in Arma2. Still some small issues but overall pretty happy with the textures and clutter. I'll post up some more of the cities once we've added some Arma2 buildings. Also need to fix the satelite images, and work on a decent texture/clutter for the outback.
We got informed that stubblehopper released four new pictures of his upcoming Vilas WW2 Pack for ArmA II.
Just managed to get these ported over from Arma to ArmA II. I need to make a few minor improvements to the models, adjust/update the graphics a little and they should be ready to serve once again on the Eastern Front. After that I'll think about releasing them for download in a week or two.
Bktman informed the community that he is working on a Nuclear Bomb Mod for ArmA II.
Hey,
I am currently working on a nuclear bomb mod for ArmA 2. I have been working on this project for a while and decided I would post some progress for you guys to look at.
The mod will hopefully byt the end feature: - GIG SCUD from ArmA:Armed Assault ported to ArmA 2. - Droppable Nukes from planes. - Different Nukes to drop from planes and add to your bases for looks. (They will explode if damged.) - Special Vehicles and Boats used to launch Nuclear Devices.
SenChi from the Valhalla Mod announced that he is working on a ArmA II version of his Klurs Island.
Good day all, BIS release tools , and that means that I am again working hard.
One of the most beautiful islands for the Arma-1 - Comes back Valhalla Mod - Klurs Island I will post here results of the work. On island there are no trees, because BIS not yet release MLOD models.
NZDF CRASH from the New Zealand Defence Force Mod released several two new pictures of their work in progress M113 on the BI Forums.
Just a few screenshots of our m113s which the NZ Army used from the 60's till late 2003 when the NZLAVIII suceeded them. Still have to give it a weathered look and do a few model changes.
Fortran posted two new videos of his upcoming F-117A with FLIR/DLIR Sensor & Laser Self-Designation.
As a few of you may have seen in the "stuff you are working on" thread, my current project is creating an F-117A NightHawk for Arma II. Alongside modelling/texture/export and config work for the jet I have also been working on a script set to attempt to emulate the "real-life" weapon and user systems found on-board.
As most of you may know the F-117A is capable of self-designating its targets for the GBU-27's, or other laser-guided payloads, via it's FLIR and DLIR sensors. The actual exact method of how it does this is still classified, but after reading pretty much everything I could find I have a fairly good idea of how it works. I really wanted to try and incorporate these systems into my version of the F-117A and as I said, am trying to build up a set of scripts which will allow the player to feel (as much as I can) that he is actually using these to some extent.
Currently this is still very much WIP but I thought I would share where I am at so far and get some feedback from you guys. Currently I am only working on the DLIR sensor, which is used after its forward looking counterpart, as the plane enters above the target area. The basic idea for the final version will be the target is selected from the forward sensor then final adjustments and firing will be passed to and carried out by the downward sensor, am also planning to implement a good navigation system and GPS etc. Try to ignore the visuals/GUI at the moment as im still working at it as I go, but the concept is slowly coming together.
Here are a couple of videos featuring the downward sensor, the first in daytime conditions and the second at night. As I said still very much a WIP.
