Hm... AK-107 also goes export only... Russian army uses AN-94, and AEK-971(5,45) or AEK-973(7,62). (I mean modern assault rifles)

AK107 has wrong corpus, AK107 is wrong, it is not AK74 with gas pipe longer, it has other mechanism inside

AKS74U uses silencer from AKMS, this silencer cannot be attached to AKSU

it is export version using NATO 5.56 mm (0.223 inch) ammo
Russia is not NATO member , they use 5.45 ammo

They don't use the ak-74m, they use the ak-101. They are basicaly the same weapon except for slight differences. I'm happy with the ak-107, as the russians will eventualy switch.

Well at least we will have RobertHammer to make some kick ass Eastern weapons.
AN-94? don't even have a AK-74M. Thats the main Rifle of the Russian Army isn't it. They haven't updated their military with the new AK's yet.
@Wipman - Yeah the XM8 was in the ArmA v1.04 patch, there was also a Saiga12k Shotgun, an M1014 Shotgun, some Bizons and a colt M1911.

They began to work on the XM8 at least from the ArmA
Patch v1.04, i opened the weapons.pbo and the XM8's
plus some other ArmA2 weapons inventory icons were
there; same as if you open the Ca.pbo or the Characters.pbo,
that booth contain alot of aparently not used OFP textures.
Which removing 'em, may make the whole ArmA take
less than 500Mb in the HD.
