  2ème Compagnie ADO© du C.O.S. WIP Screenshots    
The-KiLLeR from the ADO French Team has sent us some nice screenshots of their upcoming C.O.S (French S.F.) units by ADO©GMC.

  Arma Addon Synchroniser updated Multiplayer    
Yoma has informed us that he has updated his Arma Addon Synchroniser Tool a few days ago. You can get more information about this very helpful tool on Yoma's Website !

Need software to download addons for the Armed Assault computer game?

Main features of this program are:

- Synchronize (download) addons from a webserver or FTP server in an easy way.
- Server admins can easily create packages that they can store on their servers. (So players can easily connect with the correct mods loaded)
- Possibility to check extra info about the mods you are downloading via connection to ArmedAssault.info or Armaholic website. (If the mod is known there)
- Add/remove/import/export server configuration files (So admins can send them to clanmembers for easy configuration)
- Game launcher that automatically preselects mods from linked modserver.
- Possibility to query gameservers via Gamespy query to check if server is playing/ who's playing on it before you connect.
- Possibility to monitor a server when it's full and have the application auto-launch arma when spots become available.
- Server monitor checks status with 30 seconds intervals and gives a warning when server state changes (good for non JIP games so you don't have to stay in lobby waiting for game to restart).
- Possibiltiy to define a distinct order in which to load selected mods.
- Launch TeamSpeak,TeamSpeakOverlay, and Track IR from within the program

  Schmalfelden, a Germany Map by Nicholas Bell Addon release    
Nicholas Bell has released a very nice and original Schmalfelden Map on the BI Forums. This is a 5120 meter x 5120 meter map, not an island - no water around it.

Schmalfelden is a map based on actual terrain in Germany, created using a military 1:50,000 scale topographic map (for elevation datum) and a Google Earth image of the area. I selected this area for recreating realistic engagements in a European environment which might typically described as "good tank country", terrain which Soviet Forces would have sought to exploit with their tank and mechanized infantry forces had the Cold War ever gone "hot"

  New Aliens released Addon release    
Ryan_D released version 4.0 of his Aliens on our forums.

What's new since 3.0:
-All UFOs now have working turrets.
-The Mothership has been greatly modified to improve performance and ingame experience.
-Plama grenades for Alien Infantry.
-Missing Addon Bug in some MP missions fixed.
-Two additional alien related MP missions, which both don't use this addon (as they were actually created way before this addon was made).
-"Demon" Alien Infantry, who attack at close quarters.
-Laser weaponary have decreased recoil.
-New Shielded and Stealth Aliens.
-Additional Game Logics, for greater customisation in Missions.
-Many other fixes including the "out of ammo" bug, "black texture" bug and much more.


This addon is packed with 7-zip, a packer tool similar to Winrar. You can get it from HERE, but the files can also be extracted with Winrar.

  A.C.E CWC Island Pack beta 2 released Addon release    
Q from A.C.E Team has announced the release of A.C.E CWC Island Pack beta 2 on the BI Forums.

Beta 2 changes

* Changed: Textures can now be set individually for each island.
* Added: OFP World - all four OFP islands on one large island.
Texture settings are different for each island based on the texture setting for each island.
* Assigned better default texture for each island (different for each).
* Fixed: Airports now have visible airfield.
* Fixed: Most config class missing ArmA.rpt Warning. Thanks to DeanosBeano and Linker Split!
* Fixed: Buggy textures for town sign (problem with model binarization - reason unknown).
* Fixed: Crossroad textures buggy.
* Fixed: Object height sometimes wrong (little too high or low). Thanks to SnakeMan!
* Fixed: Ladders and doors working for a OFP objects.


This A.C.E CWC Island Pack beta 2 is NOT hosted on our servers at A.C.E Team request, but you can download it from A.C.E server, here.

  Sigma-6 Vehicles (unfinished) Addon release    
The well known Sigma-6 has send us his Sigma-6 Vehiclepack. The addons are still unfinished and Sigma-6 would like to see his work finished by the community. So if you are interested in completing one of these vehicles please write him an e-mail (you can find his e-mail address in the included readme file).


The land vehicles will be found under 'civilian/Sigma Wheeled'.

Known Bugs:
Lights are not fully functional. Gauges do not work. Driver and Passenger animations are much less than ideal. The ship has even more bugs.

All of these issues are slated for future versions, but if anyone skilled in these areas wants to go ahead and update for these issues, do not hesitate to contact me.

  Italian Pack of PedagneMOD released ! Addon release    
Arremba_san_zorzo has informed us of the release of the awaited Italian Pack of PedagneMOD on our Forums. Queen'Gambit is needed.

I have just release the PedagneMOD Italian Pack on PedagneMOD web site

The pack contains 8 pbo files:
ASZ_PersoneIT.pbo (soldiers)
ASZ_Beretta.pbo (light weapons)
ASZ_ndd_weapons.pbo (heavy weapons)

This Pedagne Mod comes with a pack of 3 missions by Mark82101 : ASZ_GIS_demo, ASZ_GOI_Demo, ASZ_SanMarco_sbarco_demo. Italian weapons addon by Rebus is needed for these missions.

  Syr Darain updated Addon release    
Alex Sworn informed us that he has updated his Syr Darain island to version 3.0 (beta). The complete and overworked 3.0 will be released in a few days.


Updates in version 3.0 :

- New textures for the city New Porto
- Completly new town in the north of the island
- Many smaller changes in various villages
- The AI can now use the airport (land&start)
- 90% of the animations work


Furthermore Alex, released the SAR and VisitorX Data, and everbody who wants to work on this island is welcome.

This addon is packed with 7-zip, a packer tool similar to Winrar. You can get it from HERE, but the files can also be extracted with Winrar.

  Dynamic Sound AI - RC 1.0 by Wolfrug and Sickboy Addon release    
Wolfrug has released a Dynamic Sound AI addon by Wolfrug and Sickboy on the BI Forums. More info on BIKI Page on RUG DSAI

Since this version of RUG_DSAI is in most matters entirely revamped from the old version, I figured it needed a whole new topic. The reason it's entirely different is thanks to Sickboy, who overhauled all my clunky old scripts, made it MP-compatible, and messed with the configs until they look like they do now (really sleek). Aside from that, RUG DSAI still does what it used to: gives your and the enemies' AI a voice beyond the stale radio messages.
Features :
- Ready made scripts for Dynamic Sound AI that is easily modifiable by the end-user.
- Your AI will shout curses at the enemy, tell you when they're reloading, throwing a grenade, engaging, when they're hurt, fleeing or when they've scored a big kill! And much more.
- Works in both SP, client-side MP and server-side MP
- Features English, Arab, Russian and Spanish voices by default
- Can assign voices to all sides (BLUFOR, OPFOR, Independent, Civilian, SideEnemy)
- Easily activated/deactived by mission makers, addon makers or server admins as required, using global variables and config entries (see below for more information)
