  Eighteenth release of A&S ProMode (2011-07-03) Mission release    

Kju has informed us about the Eighteenth release of A&S ProMode (2011-07-03).

Another big update with many additions, updates and fixes.
Please read the changelog below for details.

Make sure to read about the remapping of the actions of the F keys.
Also take note in the reworked notes section. There is more to come.
The plan is to provide all details in a sort of ingame help section.
Finally users of the random mode you look into the new way of mass
moving zones in the briefing phase, in addition to the existing ability
to move single zones to adjust the layout.
Note: The files with the _AI_ tag have the AI mode active by default.

You can see the planned additions for the next release in the roadmap.

* Added: ability to quick access all infantry weapon types via number keys.
* Added: ability to quick change vehicle positions via number keys + shift key.
* Added: ability to quick access all vehicle weapons via number keys.
* Added: custom keys to adapt sound volume on F11 and F12.
* Added: make it possible to hide bodies of enemy units to deny revive.
* Added: make it possible for the admin to mass move all zones in the briefing phase.

* Fixed: Quick switch from grenade to opposite grenade type does not hide the former.
* Fixed: Ground based vehicles cannot lock with anti air missiles.
* Fixed: HandGrenades/Smokes are not always removed when stashed away.
* Fixed: All AI gets killed if a player disconnects.
* Fixed: In random mode Players JIP to briefing phase do not get updated zone positions.
* Fixed: X-Ray is broken in the random mode, if the admin moves them.

  British 'Bulldog' APC released [BAF] Addon release    
cleggy has released a FV432 Mk3 'Bulldog' British APC for ARMA2:Combined Ops addon on the BI Forums

The 'bulldog' is an upgrade to the aging FV432 series British APC.
With a new drivetrain, the addition of ERA and bar armour, an anti-IED electronics suite
and improved crew protection it was designed to relieve the operational burden on the Warrior.

After seeing action in Iraq it was deemed 'unsuitable' for deployment in Afghanistan
and was sent to the knacker's yard.

What you get
The 'Ned Kelly' variant - so named because of the Australian designed 'bucket on it's head' turret.

I can't claim this model is 100% accurate but hopefully I've done the old girl some justice.

konyo has informed us about A319 MPA & A320 MPA v1.3 addon release on the BI Forums.

  CWR² Demo Patch 1 released ... and hotfixed ! Addon release    

W0lle from Cold War Rearmed Mod has informed us about CWR² Demo Patch 1 and CWR² Demo Patch 1 Missions releases.

This first big Patch fixes a lot of recently reported Problems.
Thanks to everyone who reported issues in the forums or in our Bugtracker!

Edit 01/07/2011 : Hotfix for CWR² Demo Patch #1 released. The hotfix is updating SP Missions aswell.

For some reason the Russians decided to act up and disguised themselves in some weird camo. Maybe in an attempt to confuse the Americans and Resistance. Or they thought: What Spetsnaz can do, we can do too.
Anyway, they now wear their KLMK suits again so order on the battlefield is restored. :-)

IMPORTANT: You must download and install the CWR² Demo Patch #1 BEFORE you apply this hotfix!
To install this hotfix, extract/copy the included @CWR2 and Missions Folder into your ArmA2 installation.
If asked to overwrite files, answer with yes.

  Static radar landing system RSP-6M2 Addon release    
Hand of MoscoW has released a Static radar landing system RSP-6M2 addon on the BI Forums.

Made in Soviet Union, she was upgraded and also it is used to this day on civil and military airdromes.
She was designed to protect aircraft landing under adverse weather conditions.
Equipment include:
1. Radar Landing System-6M2
2. Generator-6M2


In addition, is offered to use cables connections for different devices.
This adds in game the cables of different pieces and directions, necessary for the connection radars systems, generators and another static equipment.In the future will be added "Objects for radars" by different auxiliary things, which connected with the given subjects.
For economy of time, the structure addon includes mission "CablesForRadars.utes", with the prepared cables combination and various configurations and length. What to use the necessary example for the mission, use "CopyPaste"...

  M109A6 Paladin v 1.1 Update released Screenshots    


Rob / Rexehuk has informed us about M109A6 Paladin v1.1 release.

Thank you to everybody who has downloaded the mod so far, we hope you have enjoyed it. We tried to release it with no bugs, alas we failed like human beings, so as a present you can now have it with no bugs . This is not the final release, we do have a few little plans down the road still to come.
