@Jojimbo: I did and made a nice battle haha, and I too have Arma on D: (sounds silly though lol but who cares). Forgive me for not posting bugs into the dedicated thread.

Hi guys,

I have a fix for anyone experiencing lockups or files not found.

It turns out that the installation route was incorrectly set up by the I44 guys bless them.

If you got to Programfiles>Bohemian Interactive> @I44

and click on the AddOns folder, you will notice ANOTHER AddOns folder in here. Go inside this, select everything, right click and CUT, go back out of this 2nd AddOns folder, right click and PASTE everything inside the 1st AddOns folder.

Reload the mod using the shortcut provided by the instillation on your desktop and you should notice everything working fine.

Be warned, this mod is crazy demanding with so many AI it brought my quadcore to about 7 fps... a bit silly to be honest. This is a mod noone will truly be able to play properley for at least another 4 years becuase of the massive system load with the number of AI present :/.

Enjoy.

@ Arch and daka,
I have Vista too,but I install all my games into the D: drive because vista doesnt like any other programs but windows messing with C:program files.
my card is a GS8600 512,i have one of the latest gaming rigs which eats DX10 games for breakfast, everything exept the first mission in the campaign which i am putting down to scripts or a memory leak.
i also crash trying to reload a save, but to "revert" works fine.
mess about with the editor, make some custom missions and see how it goes.

@archsceptic: Yea, I have the same problem too, but only with that error message, (I have Vista Ultimate) with the save I don't have any problems at all. I really like the campaign guys, the only problem I have is that sometimes the game lags (maybe because my 8600GT).

I think I'm going to have to give up with this one, the install of the mod is going fine on both my Vista 64 bit hd and xp 32 bit hd - but on both operating systems I get "Cannot load material file i44_static_pak_40pak40_barrel.rvmat" at the start of missions - I press continue anyway but get a lock up when I try to load a savegame. Otherwise gameplay is fine.

Already tried the suggested fixes for other problems. :(

One weird thing with the Vista install is that the installer automatically places the mod into "Program Files (x86)" when ArmA is actually under plain old "Program Files".

GFX card is 4870 X2, which has under-performed and been a general let-down in every game I have yet played on it.

@All

You may report bugs etcetera to the dedictated thread, too. The Inv44 crew will surely appreciate it.
