This package will install complete editing tool suite for Bohemia Interactive's game engine used in ARMA.

The Personal Edition Tool Suite is provided free of charge for any non-commercial use without any support from Bohemia Interactive. Use it at your own risk. Refer to the end user license agreement as displayed during the setup process of this application for more details. This license agreement is valid for the whole package and as well any of its parts.

RKSL, the renowned addons maker Team has posted some news about their work in progress on their web site.
Its been a busy month for us at RKSL. We've got a lot going on behind the scenes. Late last month we released some info and a video about the A400M, and Seaking HC4. This month we've just published a whole raft of screen shots of new projects and a new video of the BAe Hawk T2 advanced Trainer model. Some of the SAM systems are coming online and we're making progress with the Cargo System. Sooo to reflect all this and to keep you up to speed I'm spending some time on the website in the next few days.
Cheetah and the Editors Depot crew over at OFPEC have been busy putting together a mission tutorial which touches on almost all the different aspects of building a mission! This tutorial is definitely a must read for the new comer to Armed Assault, and also a nice refresher those who are even experienced mission makers!

"The Mission Tutorial Part 1 should give newcomers to Armed Assault plenty of knowledge to start developing missions. With detailed information about triggers,waypoints, units and scripts, using the editor will become your second nature. Adding a briefing, overview and implementing the stringtable is explained too, in order to give you even more options to improve your mission. Not only will this tutorial be your guide, it will lead to the development of a mission! Downloading this mission will help you learn and understand what is explained in the tutorial, there may even be some tips and tricks inside for veteran mission authors.
There are far more options available to mission authors as those handled in Part 1, like adding music and cutscenes to your mission. Snake Man has informed us on our forums about the current state of the Vietnam: The Experience mod. He also stressed the mod's need for modellers and texturers.
Vietnam: The Experience modification from OFP is now on ArmA, we have already released quietly two full pre-alphas and few hotfixes. We are working very hard to fix the ported OFP models and tweak the config. We cannot do this alone, we dont have the modeler and texturer we need at the moment. This tool will allow clans and team admins to not have to manually edit their xml squad file hosted on their own server everytime a member get in or out of the team. They will instead have to register on ArmedAssault.eu website and use an interface to drag and drop registered players and the XML file will be automatically updated.
This system will create a SquadXML complete with transparancy and in .paa format for optimal use in armedassault. Community admins never have to edit or upload your squadxml again! Move your players amongst squads within your community. Players never have to change their squadxml location again, and can at ANY time fallback to a 'personal' squadxml for when you dont want to play with your community tag/logo.
CheyenneAH56 has sent us a distress signal for the French "Sécurité Civile" emergency Mod. They need urgently a good scripter to improve realism of their vehicles and add features, but 3D and texture artists are welcome.

KilJoy has released a V4 version of his well known and acclaimed Evolution MP mission on the BI Forums. It's in fact a pack featuring four missions : Evolution Red, Evolution Blue, Evolution Red QG (Queens Gambit), Evolution Blue QG (Queens Gambit).
... (Main) Improvments 1. Radio Towers can only be destroyed by satchels. 2. Halo option added to mission HQ. 3. Support system via radio 0 0 8. 4. Engineers can lock repair trucks. 5. Persons using laser designators share the bombers points. 6. Stronger reinforcements.

Red Devil has posted impressive screenshots of the RACS retextured Gnat's Piper Warrior II in the BI Forums. He is also working on a retextured M60. As we can see the RACS army will be getting bigger soon!
