They are messed up a bit. After first view images of OPF 2 there are preview pics of ArmA I- 3 years old.
And you text site of the "selected ones" hasn't a single image. Nothing. Looks like the wrighter gets payed for what he does - and in that case he wrights special things. You can't belive every text on the internet. And in that case there is no proof.
This video is old and rendered. Could be COD4 btw.

Those pictures that where released february 20th, 2009 included in the gamespot preview sure don't look like concept art to me.
It looks pretty ingame and I actually think armed assault looks better. Texures in OFP2 are inferior and so is the geometry and draw distance.
And yes it IS a preview. A preview doesn't have to mean that any material is released for the public.
It's for a select audience in advance of release for the general public.
According to gamespot this was a preview. They even call it hands on and say they played it so I'd have to agree with them that it is indeed a preview.
BTW I think there's about 60 seconds of ingame footage in the EGO tech video if that's what you're looking for.

Its photoshop, stupid. Some pics there are older than ArmA.
And a shitty text. Not a preview. A real game preview has at least one minute of gameplay.
And this minute will be in the news of this site.

@michael, yes none of us have played it but those in the know understand it is using a different game engine and its the original OFP engine (in ARMA2) that we all know and love rather than OFP DR's EGO engine. And if its super realism CM are going for (as they originally stated) then they should at least get the marine's MARPAT right. :s
Regardless of the difference in the two games the point here is that they shouldn't be allowed to say OFP DR is the official sequal when the only thing that is the same is the name.

I want to add one thing: Remeber, that all newbies will assault shops for OFP2. We have to take a look at, hmm... psychologist prospect?
Probably most of you, like me, dont like COD4. BUt when you play closer you probably see you like it, in worse way just a bit.
Everyone of us when kid wanted to fell like commando, am I right? COD allows us to be not afraid of bullets, just fight and feal like on real combat.
I am afraid most of OFP2 fans will be like that. I have to admit that those kind of guys are a bit more numerous. THey will make great advertisement for OFP2, that's a sad fact.

HOW ON EARTH CAN THEY TELL?????? there is no playable version of it yet and there is 60 seconds of gameplay already stated that there are different levels of realism. but yet you all judge it. You have no idea what it will be capablen of, but you fanboy all over BIS who resorts to sniveling lawyers to get ahead of the competition. Let the games stand on release and be judged, not before.
@maccollo how am I in the wrong? all the previews say it is nothing like COD 4?? care to elaborate?
