  CAMPAIGN EPISODE 2: OUT NOW_ Videos    

Korneel van 't Land from Bohemia Interactive has informed us about Arma 3 "Adapt" trailer release.

Bohemia Interactive today released the second episode of the official campaign for Arma 3. In the new episode, titled ‘Adapt’, players take on the role of Ben Kerry, a soldier trapped on the island of Altis following a Mediterranean flashpoint. The new campaign episode's release is accompanied by a brand new trailer.



While the first part of the campaign introduced players to Arma 3's basic infantry combat and story, episode two opens up the military sandbox further, challenging players to adopt guerrilla tactics in the face of against a stronger, better-equipped enemy. The Adapt episode is made available to people via an automatic update on Steam

"Episode One helped players get to grips with the basic skills needed to survive”, said Jay Crowe, Creative Director on Arma 3. “Episode Two introduces a whole new set of challenges, giving players more freedom and responsibility in the wide, open terrain of Altis."



The official campaign for Arma 3, named ‘The East Wind’, consists of three episodes: 'Survive', 'Adapt', 'Win'. The first campaign episode, 'Survive', was deployed in October 2013, followed by the second 'Adapt' episode today. The third and final campaign episode, ‘Win’, is scheduled for March 2014.

  SOCOM and DEVGRU Units by Massi Videos    
Jester814 from the 15th MEU Realism Unit made another great showcase video for Massi's USSOCOM units.



Massi has submited this USSOCOM Rangers, NAVY SEALs DEVGRU and DELTA addon on our Forums.

I’m updating the USSOCOM pack with new multicam textures, and the introduction of Ranger units in full multicam uniform and gear.
Also unit’s organization in the editor has been tweaked, and the dedicated server fix is no more required for those units.
This addon is a retexture of NATO, and Independent units, It adds several camouflage uniforms plus custom made headgear and retextured gear in order to represent US Army 75th RANGER, DELTA Force and Navy SEAL DEVGRU units ...

  NATO SF\Russian Spetsnaz weapons pack by Massi Videos    
Jester814 from the 15th MEU Realism Unit made a great showcase video of Massi's NATO SF\Russian Spetsnaz weapons pack.



Massi has released this pack to equip his SF units.

As part of the official Community Guide video series for Arma 3, Bohemia Interactive released a brand new episode on combined arms warfare. Focusing on transportation and support, Andrew Gluck (better known as Dslyexci) from ShackTactical narrates the video to explore the synergetic relationship between infantry, vehicles, aircraft and artillery.

The Community Guide series opened with a more general introduction to Arma 3, whereas the second and third Community Guide took a closer look at infantry combat and multiplayer teamwork. The fourth video celebrated a milestone in development, as the game transitioned from Alpha to Beta. The latest Community Guides focused on helicopters and sniper and launcher teams.

Arma 3 is now available for purchase on Steam and Store.bistudio.com for 44.99 EUR/39.99 GBP/59.99 USD. There is also a Digital Deluxe Edition available, which includes digital extras such as the Arma 3 soundtrack, a map of Altis, the Tactical Guide (300+ pages), and a Steam version of Arma: Cold War Assault. A boxed version of Arma 3 is sold at many of the major retailers.

Set on the Mediterranean islands of Altis (270 km²) and Stratis (20 km²), Arma 3 features 12 singleplayer showcases, 3 factions showcases, 9 multiplayer scenarios, 10 firing drill challenges, more than 20 vehicles and 40 weapons, 5 factions, the scenario editor and modding support.   New video SITREP for Arma 3 Videos

Providing a SITREP of development so far, Bohemia Interactive has published a brand new video for Arma 3. The latest Community Guide explores the game’s new features, provides a recap of the Arma 3 Alpha, and looks at some of the most popular community-created content. The video concludes by demonstrating the new faction, vehicles, weapons, scenarios and challenges from the just-released Arma 3 Beta.

Together with Andrew Gluck (better known as Dslyecxi) from ShackTactical, Bohemia Interactive is creating a series of videos to explain some of the basics of Arma 3. The first video presented Arma 3’s core principles, the second video explored infantry combat, while the third Community Guide provided tips on effective multiplayer teamwork. This new SITREP video records a major milestone in Arma 3’s development as the game transitions from Alpha to Beta.

Starting with the successful Arma: Cold War Assault (originally titled Operation Flashpoint*: Cold War Crisis) in 2001, Arma 3 is the latest installment in Bohemia Interactive’s award-winning tactical military shooter series for PC. The Arma 3 Beta, which aims to involve players into the game’s development, features 8 showcase missions (Infantry, Vehicles, SCUBA, Helicopter, Combined Arms, Supports, Night, Commanding), 20 weapons and 18 vehicles, 4 multiplayer scenarios, 4 firing drill challenges, the powerful scenario editor and modding support. The Arma 3 Beta is located on Stratis (20 km²), while the final game will also feature the 270 km² Mediterranean island of Altis,

The Arma 3 Beta (34.99 EUR/29.99 GBP/44.99 USD) and the Arma 3 Digital Deluxe Edition (44.99 EUR/39.99 GBP/59.99 USD) are available for purchase from Steam and Store.bistudio.com (both include a Steam version of the full retail game upon release).   Arma 3 - Pre-E3 Livestream Hangouts Videos    
First pre-E3 livestream hangouts – offering a glimpse of what will be on display in Los Angeles takes place at 17:00 UTC on Saturday June 1 and has been hosted on the official Arma 3 channel on Twitch.tv.

For this first livestream, on Saturday June 1 at 17:00 UTC, Mission Designer Thomas Ryan (supported by several others Arma 3 developers) has given a basic tutorial in scenario editing - using some of the weapons and vehicles from the upcoming Arma 3 Beta.
