  Autopilot by Blakeace Addon release    
Blakeace has informed us about Blake's autopilot v1.0.1 addon release on the BI Forums.

This is a port of my autopilot for take on helicopters. The main benefit for this with arma is the automatic engagement of attitude hold when viewing the map if the autopilot isn't already engaged.
It has the same modes as the TOH verison.

Attitude hold
Heading hold
Attitude / Altitude hold

It also contains a WIP terrain following mode for planes.

  Island of Dingor by IceBreakr Addon release    

IceBreakr has released a new Island of Dingor v1.0 on the BI Forums. Arma2:CO and Lingor Island 1.4 or higher needed.

Features:
- island is *same* as Lingor v1.4 (or higher), except the satellite imagery, ground clutter and vegetation (jungle removed, much less vegetation all around).
- shortened roads to water in San Fernando and Encanto
- everything else remains the same
- it requires less powerful PC/GFX card in order to achieve high fps
- AI can't sneak up on you using "special hearing and vision" powers since there is no more thick jungle
- you have a much greater chance to survive against chupacabras, predators and other mysterious creatures that lurk around this land

Story Background (or make your own if there is a need)
a) Molatia gave up on south Duala after decades of war and mounted a suprise attack on war-torn Lingor. They used special airborne chemical agents to wipe out most of the vegetation and including a fair share of population, too. Enjoy the new war
b) Dingor - a successful HAARP test

Tip: Missions for Lingor should work for Dingor, just resave them.

  CSLA patch v2.13 released ! Addon release    

EMSI from the CSLA Mod team has informed us about CSLA patch v2.13 release on the BI Forums. This patch upgrades the current version of CSLA MOD from v2.12 to v2.13.

New content:
- added new addons of vehicles Praga V3S in various versions (see Editor's Reference Manual)
- added new addons of wooden barricades
- added 3 new SP missions: Convoy, In the shadows, Hold position

New feature:
Axe
- this specific tool/weapon can be transported in the cargo space of vehicles
- can be also added to any unit as the secondary weapon
- when the axe is available, an new action menu items will appear
- now you can select the option to build wooden barricades with 3, 4 or 10 trunks
- known bug: building of barricades is now available also on the desert or on the land w/o trees

Fixes and updates:
- fixed various strings
- fixed issue with identification of factions while using scripts for automatic filling of bunkers
- fixed issue with smokeshells
- fixed issue with service truck for the AFMC faction
- fixed issue with game crashing while using CSLA ammo crates in mission (mainly after load/autoload)
- fixed config for magazines of OP-63 (compatibility with A.C.E.)
- extended cargo space for backpacks in various vehicles
- updated Editor's Reference Manual

  Unsung The Vietnam War Mod Release 2.5 WIP Report General    

Sgt Savage from The Unsung Mod has released an Unsung The Vietnam War Mod Release 2.5 WIP Report on the BI Forums

Hey all,
Well we are still moving forward time for a bit of an update and some eye candy to keep you interested.

Campaign/Missions
The mission guys are continuing work on the campaign we can now reveal is called : Operation Copperhead

You are Captain Jack Campbell from the special forces southern highlands command bought in to take charge of Camp Oscar. Survive numerous VC attacks on the SF base and surrounding villages while you retrain the local CIDG forces and build relations with the local populous. Go on recon, rescue and support missions following a progressive original storyline. However, watch out for the hardened NVA forces also entering the AO they will try to oust you to take control of this strategic area as they move down from the north. It's up to you and a specialised team to turn the tide and keep your AO under US control.

Sounds
We have also remixed all our weapon sounds to match as closely as possible to the real thing. However , it still gives you that punchy feeling like you actually holding the gun in your hand. Also we are expanding the sound side of things to take you deeper and immerse you in jungle operations of Vietnam. Now you will actually hear the VC and the screams for help from your wounded team mates, plus a few other surprises.

Configs
While the config wars continue, Columdrum is winning the battle. However he could use some help there is a lot of little fiddly fixes to be made to get the mod in top shape.

As you can see YAC has been hard at work updating and re texturing our weapons. Here's a few WIP pics so far

Islands
Also,new maps in the works . Guess where this one is?
Thanks to the kind donation by Geloxo and Frosty Bowman we have 2 new islands under construction.

  GTA Chernarus II by Maxjoiner Mission release    

Maxjoiner has informed us about GTA Chernarus II SP Campaign release.

Description:
David Stiller the undiscussed king of the crime let alone Boss of the gang "Black Angels"
is arrested by the Police thanks to an anonymous tip-off.
Interpreting David will have to as first mission escape from the prison island
of maximum security of Utes, to then reconquer all Chernarus your territory.
To do this one you will have to do varied missions that will return you reputation and money.

Features:
- New texture with the repaint scripts.
- No addons to use.
- New actions.
- New vehicles.
- New Units.
- Minimap on the screen.
- Player's health, money and your dangerous level always on the screen
- Populated city with civil, police units and vehicles, Rival Gang ecc.
- Alternative missions!
- Of course in GTA style
