ModEmMaik released on Armed-assault.de a conversion of the DKM Mod RAH-66 Commanche helicopter from OFP into ArmA and ArmA 2.
Actually this bird was converted for A1, but I have added a repl-config for A2. I have already requested permission from rastavovic for 2 other addonmakers to continue the Comanche, because of a new profession, I will retire from modding.
Please do not stop any projects, because someone else released a similar looking. This chopper is focused on A1 (1'st LOD includes 3.2k faces only), so you can focus on A2 features (hit effects, wrecks, super shader etc.). I am sure your Comanche will be top notch, when you model one. BR, mike

Ryu informed us that Sakura-chan released his Night Lighting effects . Addon adds new light cones for streetlamps in ArmA 2.
This addon was created to enhance the night lighting effects of Arma2. Here is what is contained within the addon:

- Dim and yellow military style headlights for vehicles
- fixed missing green blinking light on Osprey
- new colors and sizes for aircraft positional lights
- removed ugly lighting on aircraft, lights were really bugged and didn't add anything so I removed them
- new light cones for streetlamps
- new light cones for directional lights (headlights)
- reduced effect and range of searchlight
- increased campfire/burning barrel/fireplace smoke and fire effects
- reduced campfire/burning barrel/fireplace light brightness and changed color to a soft orange

Unfortunatly we were not informed about this release but Binkowski released finally his US Army Units for ArmA 2 on the BI Forums, and can be downloaded from our ftp below.
Here's something that some of you may have been following for awhile. Well here it is, the first public beta release of my US Army Units for ArmA2. I have tried my hardest to replicate what we actually wear in the field, using my uniform and battle rattle as a reference.
Currently, this is my first public beta release for ArmA2. So, naturally, these are not bug free, there may be bugs that I have not noticed and if you do notice them, feel free to inform me. Eventually down the road when I have more time I will increase the quality etc etc. This is more of a, preview, of what's to come in the future.
Yes this addon is signed for multiplayer. Yes the Server Key is included.
Replacement pack will come in the next release.
No, this Addon is not perfect and has it's bugs. For example, not all of my RVMATS are using the new ArmA2 RVMATS, notice I said "not all", most of them do, a few do not. Just be aware.
