Cybergirl from the French FAFw Mod has released new screenshots of the upcoming Mod units on the ArmA-Fr.net Forums. These screens are showing a SuperEtendard, a Transall, a Tigre and a Leclerc MTB.
Kju has informed the community on the BI Forums about the GDT Mod Plants release by HeinBloed.
This Addon changes the plants.
- Downscaled textures. - Several of the first LODs removed. - More FPS and less GPU memory usage. - Grass does not change distance-related.
Some textures and models are greatly reduced, some are slightly reduced, and some are not reduced. Every single textures and model was modified separately.

Jarger has informed us about the release of a screenshot featuring a Leopard 2A4 on the FDF Mod site. This beast from Germany touched the Finnish soil for the first time in April 2003. Total of 124 new Leopard main battle tanks replaced old T-72s giving a great amount of performance compared to it's old Soviet rival. The chobham-layered 55 000 kg steel monster is equipped with a hard-biting 120mm Rheinmetall smoothbore main gun and two 7.62x51mm MG 3 machine guns.
Wiper has released an updated 1.33b version of his Cipher [SP & MP/Coop] mission on the BI Forums. Cipher is playable in SP mode as well as in MP coop mode.
'Cipher' is a Arma2 mission fully based on scripts. The mission development was centered around three central themes: 1. Literally unlimited replayability providing unexpected encounters each time the mission is restarted. 2. Let the player experience how awesome the AI and micro AI actually is that BIS has created for us and what I think is the most sophisticated AI for home computer games to date ! 3. Give the player the possibility to explore and enjoy the gorgeous beauty of the Chernaurus map while immersed in a living environemt. 4. Embedding all of the above into a plausible "story line" keeping a most enjoyable balance.
As a result, on one hand the mission concept is based on a relatively advanced AI “engine” as a core system that I originally started to develop in the beginning of the good (golden) old OFP times and provides a full dynamic driven persistent AI.
