Neither do I. No point in discussing with someone who cant differentiate between bitching and criticism, plain and simple. Over and out.

I'm not getting into a lengthy debate with you over this Falcon x . I have no problem with criticism but this was hardly criticism it was bitching because your annoyed that we have stopped work for A1 plain and simple.

I don't have any inside info on the going on's of BIS and future projects. However, its pretty much common knowledge in the community that BIS is concentrating on another game concept not related to the Arma series.

Ok I really dont know where I said that you or any other modder owns anything to me or anyone. This is just your perception, not mine. And its this modder attitude that pisses ME off big time, just the fact that when anyone utters a word of criticism on their work or decisions they start whining and quitting and complaining about the ungratefulness of mankind and tell those ppl that they should build their own mod - very helpful! To use your own words: "Well that's how it is mate" so get over it.

Reason for my comment was that I remember OFP times when there where mods in the making and then being halted as the modders had to switch to ArmA, and now its being halted cuz they need to switch to Arma2, and I think its just ridiculous to switch and switch instead of finishing something!
You say yourself that it is no fun to learn all the new engine's requirements, so why the hell do it instead of finishing what you have started? You owe me nothing man, I just dared to make a comment on another buggy half ready release of something I looked forward to. Nuff said.

Oh and about the FYI thing: nice that you already know what will be done and what wont be. Hope the developers will consult you before making their decision on future projects.

Well that's how it is mate, sooo sorry we decided to move on with arma 2......

This attitude like we owe you pisses me off no end, this is why so many talented modders have given up and left the community.

You really think we like converting or completely rebuilding the mod from scratch each time a new engine is made?? Not an easy task having to relearn and redevelop content. There obviously there is a genuine reason why we decided to halt work on arma 1.

All I can suggest if our timing is a little slow or you don't agree with our decision on what platform we base our work on here, I will send you links to visitor, oxygen ect so you can make your own mod knock yourself out....

Oh and FYI it's very unlikely there will be arma 3.

*shakes head* I would appreciate mod teams to make up their minds about which game they want to do their mod for. What if Arma3 is released before you finish the mod for ArmA2? I guess then we get "all work has been halted, we focus on part 3 now". Cheers.
