BI Studio has posted an update on the official developer's blog about their plans for a new Arma patch.
-Vista 4gb + ATI problems will be fixed -Multiplayer join-in-progress will be fixed -Dedicated server bandwidth control will be fixed These fixes will also be incorporated into Arma II as well.
A community configuration project will be started, so members of the community can help contribute to the final patch config files:
"Community Configuration Project As part of this patch, we would like to formalize community oriented approach towards fixing and improving some of the aspects of the game configuration files. [...] we hope to see a few simple config fixes contributed by the community in the final patch."
This will probably be the last Arma patch unless a game-stopping bug is found.
