  Accurate single player artillery by Viper changes Screenshots    
Viper169th has released an update -v1.2- of his Viper Artillery addon for SP missions on the BI Forums.

1. updated scripts for easy cleanup
2. Added L16A2 Mortars for each side including Racs..........Mortars are found under Viper Mortars .. Mortars have a turn radius of +/-100 degrees remember that when placing units
3. including demo mission to show how to add and remove script ie.. for HQ's and ect...
4. updated Template to have all unit now on airfield at Sahrani
5. To use Mortars you must download the "L16A2 mortar" that Sander ported over to Arma

The artillery can be found under West,East,or Independent Viper Artillery & Viper Artilllery Men
"Artillery Crews East and West as well as Artillery do not attack targets theses are for ai use only can be used in cutscenes ect.."

Find scorpio under independant - colonelwell'addon - alienscorpio

Load in editor , an error message appear when you load the mission " sound dead not found " simply click ok and it's done.

  Special Forces Detachment Alpha : Units and Weapons Addon release    
Ardvarkdb has released 2 addons, SF Scars by Scubaman3d and SF Det. Alpha Units by ardvarkdb on the Bi Forums. There are two versions of SF replacements in the Unit zip file.

- SF Scars by Scubaman3d
Adds SCAR L (aka CAR L aka MK16), SCAR H (aka CAR H, aka MK17) and EGLM (aka MK13) in various configurations with custom attachments.

- SF Det. Alpha Units. by Ardvarkdb
Special Forces units from the Alpha detachment. These units come in ACU camo as well as two variants of the SPEAR jacket.
The green version of the spear jacket is seen on units with (D) in their name, and the black is seen on units with (N) in their name. By no means milspec, based more off of the VBS2 SF units.






Needed addons :
SF Scars (v beta 0.8)

This Map is a Geo Specific Representation of a Civilian Airfield in Louisiana. It is all real Sat Data etc. The Source folder is included in the PBO, Be advised, If you are going to edit this map, DO NOT Release it without written permission from me! So What do you think? Have Fun

  Mouse-Auto-Center Defeated!!! Addon release    
MadRussian released a very usefull addon which eliminates the mouse auto "feature" in Armed Assault. For more information either read the readme or head over to this BIS Forum thread.

Summary:
This modification provides a means to eliminate the unwanted mouse-auto-center "feature" while mouse driving that has been plaguing many members of the ArmA community since vanilla ArmA was released. (Installation instructions are in the contained full readme.)

Usage:
Always ensure the GlovePIE script provided is running.
Just toggle it on and off using the keystroke defined in the GlovePIE script. (I defaulted it to the TAB key, but feel free to reassign it. Do a find on "Tab" and change it there if you like.)
Note that there are plenty of cases where you will want to toggle it off and regain x-axis control of your joystick.



Requirements:
[u]PPJoy version 0.82 (or greater)
GlovePIE version 0.30 (or greater)

  Ford Crown Victoria P71 Police Interceptor Screenshots    
Delta Hawk published a screenshot of his american Ford Crown Victoria P71 Police Interceptor on the BI Forums, but he need someone who can help him with finishing it!

I have a few problems though that will prevent the release of this car. I need someone to make awsome police officers. And then I need a few scripts made for the GPD Police car (Not shown). Someone to make sure it works in multiplayer. And does anyone know how to make shadows disappear or not show on glass? It looks akward in the inside.

Yea, so, i'm doing crazy ass training in a few days for a month, and then in january i'm going to iraq. sorry ofp/arma community, i can't release it without those things and i don't have time to do it. sorry, i'm simply not going to kick myself in the balls to release this. no lost to me.

  SLA Airforce by Calm Terror Screenshots    
Calm Terror posted on Our Forums several work in progress screenshots of his MiG-21 and Su-25K aircraft.

Just a few little things I was working on

The SU-25 is the BIS one that was converted by southy textures based on TomiD's OFP retexture. I edited the models heavily and the textures added the rook and new weapons, and the SLA roundel.
the MiG-21 is the one I edited for lost brothers long time ago from the FDF one I just took the original textures and redid them for SLA one in "grey/metal"(CAP/Interceptor) and one in woodland(CAS) added unit markings and SLA roundels.

The pilots are the newest version of PKW pilots unedited. I might show more pictures later if they ever get released I will get permission first for the most part I made these because the COMPLETE lack of an airforce for the SLA except for an very unrealistically KA-50/52 neither are even used in large number by Russia let alone a small country like North Sahrani.

I think I will make atleast 3 or 4 colour schemes for each type there is 3 types of mig-21's CAP, Interceptor and CAS each will rep a different unit in the SLAAF

  Handy Tools Rope System pre-release Addon release    
geloxo released a pre-release of his Handy Tools Rope System on the BI Forums

To install, copy HT.pbo to your addons folder and the mission to the custom missions folder.

Please take into account that with this pre-release of the Handy Tools new pack you will find some new features and some redesigns but work is not yet finished. But Rope System is stable at this point and can be used without problems.

Please read the "readme" included to find out how to make it work. The demo mission will show to you the current features of the Rope System (more to come as I´m still adding new ones). At this point the predefined configs allow you to work with UH-60, Chinooks, Hueys and AB212 from FFAA mod. Anyway it may be the case that the positions match for several models and no extra config is needed.

To be honest, I didn´t have time to check all cases...
I will try to extend those configs to the rest of BIS and most popular addons in the future. In the other cases the script works, but the attach point is a default one placed at pilot´s position. For the special case of the models with animated parts you can call the animation state directly in the predefined config.

As an example the FAMET helicopters Chinook and AB212 from FFAA mod will automatically open their doors prior to the rapel insertion. This feature allows users to syncronize the custom animations with the rope attachment.
