  Tan M14 DMR and M14 Aimpoint by Sabre Addon release    
Sabre has released his Tan M14 DMR and M14 Aimpoint addon on the BI Forums.

A small addon that add's Tan painted versions of the two M14's seen above.

I've had the DMR version of these laying around since not long after ArmA2 came out, it was just something I wanted to use and figured I may aswell throw them out. Thankfully RavenDK was willing to do up the config.

The scratches and stuff may not be the most realistic in places but it gets the job done I think
Let me know if there is any glaring shit bits I've overlooked though, which is likely

  [ADO] Yapal v1.0 released Addon release    
Old Bear has informed us about Yapal v1.0 release on our Forums.

Here is a new small map for PvP or TvT purpose.
It's a CO terrain ...5 km x5 km with a town in the middle with a lot of industrial areas along a East/West railways track and a North/South road, military bases in the North and in the South and 4 villages in the terrain "corners".


Changelog from previous v0.2
- Added missing road endings,
- Modified roads placement and slope,
- Modified walls ,
- Modified pipelines crossings.
- Removed misplaced walls and bushes,
- Added Intro.

  MAF2Ext released and .... hotfixed ! Addon release    

Loick from the MAF Mod has informed us about MAF2Ext release on our Forums.

It is time for us to get the release of our pack MAF2Ext : Extension to mod for Hexagon for ArmA 2 ! This mod contains vehicles, planes, helicopters not present in the mod Hexagon for now ... These addons are of course those of our mod MAF in ArmA1 and have been reviewed and optimized for ARMA2! Of course, you can imagine, the quality does not excel the Hexagon, but you'll have the pleasure of driving or flying long-awaited in some devices ... until the Hexagon Group will release their own addons!

This mod has been completely made compatible with version 2.1 of Hexagon and therefore requires their units, weapons and data of the latter v2.1 !

We take this message to thank Ikar for allowing us so many things these past months!

  Ante Portas - SP campaign by EMSI Mission release    

EMSI has informed us about Ante Portas - SP campaign release. Introduction to the campaign can be found on the Ante Portas web page.

Mission task
Our primary target is important person - Nikola Bugayev. Leader of Chedaky military units in Chernarusia.
If we want to bring a freedom and democracy into this post-soviet republic together with NAPA, we must cut Chedakys from any old contacts from Russia as Nikola Bugayev has.
Your task is only to locate and assign this primary target for the UAV.
First step after the landing in the northern woods of Chernarus, is to contact fighters from the NAPA. They will transfer you to the target zone - CDKZ base, where will be the primary target for today's mission.

Execution

From the transport aircraft (call sign SHOWTIME) provide HALO paradrop to the designated zone.
After landing in this zone as soon as possible contact the members of the NAPA. They know about your arrival and will be there waiting for you. Code words for the contact are in a separate section.
Then in cooperation with members of NAPA move close to the CDKZ base camp. Locate here our primary objective and report any possible danger for the UAV.
Avoid any confrontation. CDKZ don't know about your presence. The same applies to the primary objective. He will be then eliminated by locating the missile from the UAV. Callsign for this UAV is MAMBA.
Once you locate the primary target, immediately send his coordinates for the missile.

Subsequently you will observe the effects of missile impact and report the situation in the target zone.
After this, move back to the NAPA - they will hide you and then await further orders.

In the case of any unexpected complications, immediately contact your command. Callsign RED CROWN.

  [R3F] Debug 1.01 released Editing    
killjoer3f has released a [R3F] Debug tool on the BI Forums

Through an intuitive menu displayed or not, during the course of the game, the coder will be able to use the function R3F ***DEBUG to help carry out its mission.
Trigger objectives, see what happens when a particular death is occuring etc etc ...

These functions are:
-Show all AI on the map, with their number, group, leadership
-Act on the skill of AI
-Have a "divine order" that will destroy anything else watched.
-Disable all AI
-Put the player into "Neutral" to move freely in the midst of conflict
-Being invincible
-Increase movement speed
-Have infinite ammo
-Sudden Kill all AI
-To create a vehicle
-Teleport
-Having a camera-free
-Run the script "on the fly"
-Spy-variables or Arma functions

  M2 Bradley Reskin by ThePieSpy Addon release    
BigMorgan has released a M2 Bradley Reskin by ThePieSpy addon on the BI Forums.

If you're like me, you've been dying for a woodland reskin of the BIS Bradley models included in Operation Arrowhead. Well, thanks to ThePieSpy from UnitedOperations.net we now have one in.

Included is an addon which adds these reskins as new units and an accompanying addon which replaces the desert skins with the woodland skins for use online and with previously-made singleplayer missions. Both files are signed for online use and the .bikey is included.

Huge thanks to ThePieSpy for his hard work. Since the question inevitably arises, he has given me express permission to use his textures.

Prague, Czech Republic, January 4th 2011 - Bohemia Interactive together with Natural Point and RockPaperShotgun.com are today pleased to announce the start of the next of its annual event celebrating the creativeness of Bohemia’s projects community: Bohemia Interactive Community Awards 2010 which invites the extensive Arma and Arma 2 community to nominate and vote for their favorite fan made content.

The three phase awards event starts on today with the nominations and continues with a voting phase in February 2011. Subscribers can nominate their favorite community created piece of work for Arma or Arma 2 (inc expansion/DLC specific mod content) till Midnight CET, January 31st 2011.
