  FFAA Mod - Spanish army weapons 1.1 released Addon release    

Peloton from the FFAA Mod has released an updated -v1.1- version of their FFAA Mod Weapons Pack on the BI Forums.

Recent changes.
-Improved all textures RVMAT file in all weapons
-HK G36 all new and improved models fixed some
-HK MP5 improves general and animation of the
-CedmeC improved textures and 3D, improved viewers
-Barrett M95 new model.
-MG3 Enhancement of the 3D.
-SIG Sauer P226 weapon new.
-p90 improves 3D.
-STEYR AUG improved textures.
-Fixed Minimi bug Viewer.
-Fabarm animation of the closure and the slider.
-Ameli small improvement in 3D and textures.

  OMON units by Binkovski updated to 1.1 Addon release    
Binkowski has released an update of his OMON units addon on the BI Forums.

1.1 (9-21-09)
- Added new camo pattern
- Added OMON and MVD Patches
- Fixed the Tiger Stripe Camo
- Added small "OMON" Logo to the right breast
- Toned the texture down, looks more like the real thing

  AAS Battle for Krasnostav by BCA Cat Toaster Mission release    

BCA Cat Toaster has released a [aas50S] Battle for Krasnostav 1.5 MP mission on the BI Forums.
This Advance and Secure MP mission is a part of the large and excellent AAS Mission Pack base on CoolBox work.

This was my first attempt making an AAS-Mission ever based on the AAS-Templates and -Scripts made by CoolBox-SBS-. It´s a small and Infantry-Based scenario in an urban environment. This mission is part of the official AAS-Mission-Pack by CoolBox-SBS featuring always all the latest improvements and Bugfixes in AAS-Game-Mode itself. The current Map-Pack features version 1.5 of this mission, 1.6 will be part of the next Mission-Pack-Release and is currently only available for testing and preview on our server. I slightly relocated the objectives B and E for more cover.




If you´re interested in Hosting this and many other maps, Modding or just Designing own AAS-Missions based on some great Templates, make sure to get the latest AAS-Mission-Pack here. Using the provided Templates makes it possible to design your own AAS-Mission without any Scripting-Knowledge! Just focus on relocating objectives, gameplay and adding additional stuff via the Editor.

  US Army 2009 Units by Binkowski updated Addon release    
Binkowski has released an updated - v1.3beta- version of his US Army 2009 Units addon on the BI Forums.

Various soldiers wearing ACU to represent modern day US Army from 2008 - 2009.

Change Log:
1.3 (09-21-09 (Beta Patch 1.3)
- Fixed texture issues
- Added more units (Officer, Breach)
- Fixed some section issues
- Found a fix for the "blurry" textures. Run your game with high / very high texture quality
- Fixed RVMAT issues
- Added clan support, clan logo's will now appear on the right arm, where a normal patch would appear

  zGuba's Gameplay Modifications for ARMA2 updated Addon release    
zGuba has released an updated version of his zGuba's Gameplay Modifications for ARMA2 on the BI Forums.

The pack contains addons changing gameplay logics or adding special effects.
Does no harm to remote machines, so don't worry about using it on servers.
Addons are signed, public key stored in the package.
Contents of the pack :

- zgb_choppers (Triggerhappy Choppers)
Moves control over FFARs directly to gunship pilots.
Use manual control to use gunner's weapons.

- zgb_disposal (Disposable Launchers)
Makes using of disposable launchers closer to reality. Player and AI don't have to care about "magazines" anymore.
Additionally changes vehicle/crate cargo so magazines got replaced with weapons.
After firing launcher, switch the weapon when desired to see the tube getting thrown on the ground.
Known issue #1: empty tubes tend to fly high in the sky when pushed by splash damage.
See video by Cole showing the issue - awaiting BI Sample Models release in order to fix this and improve visual side of the addon.
Known issue #2: player cannot test disposable launcher in the Armory because of lack of handling type 0 magazines.
Created in cooperation with Inkompetent. Using tube clearance script by Rocko. Thank You guys!

Optional addon changing display names of used tubes to English.
Requires zgb_disposal.

- zgb_disposal_ru (Disposable Launchers in Native Language)
Optional addon changing display names of RPG-18s to Russian with localized comments.
Requires zgb_disposal.

- zgb_gunners (Triggerhappy Gunners)
Makes AI gunners under player's command actually shoot at something without asking them for.
Additionally makes it possible to reload ammo belt manually in mounted weapons like M2 and Mk 19.

- zgb_stick2gether (Stick 2gether)
Makes AI stay in formations when overwhelmed.
Based on Mr Centipede's addon. Thank You!
Requires CBA.

- zgb_silviefix (Silvie Fix)
Makes cars spawned by SILVIE module randomly fueled and damaged.

- zgb_stabilization (Anti-Breakdance Vaccine)
Limits or disables stabilization on main turrets of certain vehicles to prevent "tank breakdance".
Additionally tweaks rotation speed values for T-72 and T-90 to meet their real possibilities.
Limited stabilization (vertical only): T-72, T-90
Disabled stabilization: BMP-2, BMP-3, BTR-90

- zgb_vapourtrails (Vapour Trails)
Adds vapour trails to aircrafts, just like Cole's addon.
Thanks to Cole for finding the script in game's files out!

  "Ragdoll" falling from buildings by SLX Screenshots    
Solus has released a "Ragdoll" effect for killed units falling from buildings on the BI Forums.

Here's an addon I was working on:
It make bodies attach to a physics object and fall down if they are above the ground, and then removes the object when they come to a stop. This is to reduce situations where people are sticking out over the sides of ledges. There didn't seem to be any serious bugs when testing it, and it should work independently of other SLX addons. It may need an update for MP which will come soon after someone can test it out in MP.

  ArmA2 SLA Pack 0.9 by D@VŁ Addon release    
D@VŁ has released an ArmA2 SLA Pack 0.9 on our Forums.

The SLA are back! And they're invading Chernarus! Oh noes!

Features:
-1 new faction
-25+ New infantry units (including basic infantry, special forces and vehicle crews)
-20+ vehicles (currently only reskinned ArmA2 vehicles, new ones will be added in later versions)
-Uniform randomization feature for special forces
-Fully compatible with the mission generator

  Pedagne Mod Vehicles ArmA/ArmA2 WIP screenshots Screenshots    
arremba_san_zorzo from the Pedagne Mod has informed us about their WIP and send us new in-game screenshots featuring wheeled armored vehicles.

Hi,
after a run started two years ago, today i'm proud to display first images in-game of two of numerous models of "WHEELED" section of PedagneMOD.
I'm speaking about blindo Puma, blindo 6614, truck ACTL (thanks to Lobo of FFAA), truck ACM90, 4x4 car VM90, Land
Rover, blindo car Lince (another thanks to Lobo), Hilux 5 seats.......all in various versions.
Models have been created for both Arma and Arma2 with one file 3d. Only some little adjustments on proxy and config,
needed to differentiate the game. There are still many bugs to fix and many vehicles to adjust, but now you can see only screenshot in-game. Stop with
screenshoot by buldozer.....My models go out from the drawer.
Weekly i will inform you about the work in progress in different models.
This is the first result of new collaborations of Nembo and Dedalo.
Thanks to them, never forget all old collaborations of the PedagneMOD...
