  Swedish Army Mod v1.1 beta released! Addon release    
Mr. Bravo projectleader of Swedish Army Mod informed us that they have released beta v1.1 of their mod. It contains mostly a bunch of fixes and tweaks.

-Added 2 fully geared soldier-models (With all classes and camo's)
-New improved and modern m90-texture for the new soldier-models
-Fixed the weak red dot on Aimpoint
-Retextured and much improved KSP58
-Added KSP58 with Aimpoint
-Slightly improved AK4 textures and mapping
-Improved KSP90-models
-Swedish AI-names
-Groups available for placement in the editor

We hope this will satisfy most of peoples problems and wishes from "Beta 1". More new content will come with our next update!

  OH-58 Kiowa Warrior for ACE released! Addon release    
Southy informed the community that he released an alpha ACE version of the OH-58 Kiowa Warrior. Requires ACE Mod to work!

Ok a little late but as promised here is the Kiowa for ACE only, this addon will not work if you are not running ACE.

It uses for the most part ACE weapons and fire and control systems, all thanks to Stiltman for the config work. Treat this as an alpha version, it's missing the sounds and other adjustments from the standard addon.

  P99 Weapon Pack v1.10 released Addon release    
Christian.1987 informed the community that he has released a final version v1.10 of his P99 Weapon Pack.

Changelog:

  HEXAgon Characters,Weapons and Leclerc 1.2 released Addon release    
IkåR has released all the Hexagon addons featuring featuring French army units in v1.2 version as well as an "all in one" HEXAgon Characters & Weapons 1.2 pack on the CFr-ArmA Forums, an updated v1.2 Leclerc French MBT is also released.

Updated packs are available, all are going v1.2.

We intend to finish the Tigre chopper for the release but it's hasn't be possible due to an error in the weapons pack.
The Tigre was depending upon it. It has been repared, so it will be released in a few days.
Speaking about updates, now, new versions of Fama-F1 are showing as well as the Famas-G2.
COS soldiers are featured now, as well as pilots. These are going to be in use soon.
You will find also units showing a NE tag, they are only unarmed soldiers.
Ammo cases are also available .

An updated Leclerc main battle tank featuring new textures effects is also available.

  Panthera 2.5 is here! Addon release    
IceBreakr has announced the release of his Panthera 2.5 island on Vojak.si web site.

* major optimizations and increased framerates (trees)
* new improved satellite image and ground textures
* improved ground clutter (grass, ferns, mushrooms)
* redefined sounds and physics for all ground types
* towns and villages feature beaten path instead of grass
* fixed entrances of Boh. Bistrica Factory (zombie addon request)
* upgraded ibr_plants.pbo to latest Isla Duala version, cut down RPT errors
* upgraded Boryana Airport with new hangar, taxi path and ILS system
* couple of minor road and height fixes

  US Army Ranger v1.02 released Addon release    
Massi has informed us about the release of an updated 1.02 version of his US Army Ranger addon on our Forums.

v1.02 date 20/Mar/2010
-Added basic rifleman, grenadier, disarmed unit classes.
-Added ACE2 OPTIONAL Config files: this files replace US ranger gear and weapons with the ACEX ones, USE ONLY ONE REPLACEMENT AT A TIME (REQUIRE ACEX)!!!.
-Fixed\updated the textures.

  UPSMON updated : 5.0.5 released Addon release    
Monsada has informed us about the release on the BI Forums of an updated UPSMON 5.0.4 script.

I must release 5.0.5 because of a bug with "reinforcement:" parameter on version 5.0.4

I have improved some features too:
*Added
- Parameter "AMBUSH:",3000 you can set max time to wait for ambush
*Modified:
- Ambush squads exits if called for reinforcement so you can force exit creating a specific reinforcement group for this ex: setting "reinforcement:",100
you can force exit ambush setting KRON_UPS_reinforcement100 = true
you can put 0 seconds for putting mines and go away if combined with "move" for example
- Solved bug that sets reinforcement to false on init of script
- Improved getout and landheli algorithm
- Improved target debug console A=all units C=current alive units T=targets knonw by this side
- Improved movement with vehicles, now they go in safe until near known enemies
- adjusted flanking algorithm.

  TF86 Navy SEALs Pack by Ardvarkdb Addon release    
Ardvarkdb has released a TF86 Navy SEALs Pack on the BI Forums.

This addon contains units depicting United States Navy SEAL teams. “The U.S. Navy's Sea, Air, and Land (SEAL) Teams (commonly known as the Navy SEALs), along with Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen SWCC), compose the Special Operations Forces of the United States Navy, who are employed in direct action and special reconnaissance operations. SEALs are also capable of undertaking unconventional warfare, foreign internal defense, hostage rescue, counter-terrorism, and other missions.”

* Signed Addon for Multiplayer
* 120 units total
* Includes ACE config to remove backpacks
* 7 camouflage variations for operations in almost every type of environment.

The units denoted with (M) after their names were designed for Multiplayer use, but can also be used in single player(when used by the A.I. will choose a random set of headgear to wear). A wide range of headgear (~35) in various camouflages has been added to the Player Profile section under the Glasses menu. If you are using a unit with (M) after it’s name the headgear you choose will show up ingame on this model when you use it.
**WARNING** If you choose a headgear from the player profile and use any unit that does not have the (M)denotation there will be clipping on the model because you will be wearing two pieces of headgear. ***

  GLT Mi-24 NAPA by Myke Addon release    
Legislator has released a GLT Mi-24 NAPA addon by Myke on the BI Forums.

This addons adds the Mi-24D to the NAPA faction. Because the NAPA steals everything from other factionsit was only a matter of time until they steal a Mi-24.

  Italian Spec Ops v1.09 by Massi Addon release    
Massi has released an updated Italian Spec Ops v1.09 addon on the BI Forums.

In this version I’ve added a BI retextured model for light recon units , fixed some of the textures and updated\improved the ACE2 optional config (added gasmask,balaclava, med kit…).
The Units will be found in the editor under BLUFOR >> Italian SOF,(same for the groups), sorted by the different camouflage of the uniforms and gear:

- SOF Ranger(Vegetata): for temperate environment.
- SOF Ranger(Desert): for desert environment.
- SF(Multiland): for both desert and temperate environments.
- SF Light Gear Recon units: same as SF but in lightweight gear.
- SF/SOF(Winter): for snow covered environment.
- SF Ghillie sniper\recon units: in desert , temperate and winter camos.
- GIS: MP Special Forces in CQB nomex suite.
- NOCS: Police HRT in CQB nomex suite
- GOI(Wood/Multicam): Navy Special Forces in woodland and multicam camo.
- Support Units : Italian pilot and crew .

  ShackTac Fireteam HUD (STHUD) by zx64 Addon release    
Dslyecxi has informed the community about the release of ShackTac Fireteam HUD (STHUD) by zx64 on the BI Forums.

Once upon a time, we had an idea to make something that would alleviate some of the issues in ArmA with regards to situational awareness. Our ShackTac Fireteam HUD is the solution we came up with, and while it is not completely finalized feature-wise, we think it's more than ready to be used by those who share similar views regarding gameplay's relationship with realism.

Design Intent

The ShackTac Fireteam HUD was designed to do the following:

* Provide situational awareness on where your fireteam members are and what their orientation is. This is intended to represent both peripheral vision, as well as the extended awareness one has in reality. You only see your fireteam members relative to you - no terrain, no other players/units.
* Give you an always-visible way of seeing who your team members are

  Kulima Island released Addon release    
We got informed that mapbuilder Acutres released v2.0 of his Kulima Island to ArmA 2.

Island Kulima is fictitious.
Area is ~ 37Km2 (10x10km map).
Belongs to Manan archipelago. The other two islands are: Baldarife a Zlarote.

In the distant past, the central island twisted several meteorites, which resulted in their separation and the creation of islands.

Influence meteor shower is visible even now, not only resulting lake Kulima, under which the island was named, but also crater, that hides a labyrinth of caves.

A large part of the island is covered with forest. The country is fertile and suitable for agriculture, but people are more used for subsistence fishing.

On the island there are two villages RESM and Mina. There are several settlements, the largest one Biglibi and fill.

Dominating the northern part of the island is the ruins of the castle Barbus, whose origins date back to 2 13th century.

Airport, which is south of the island has an armed faction that has the island, the indignation of indigenous peoples, other plans.

INSTALATION
Make a mod folder.
Extract @Kulima folder to your ArmA directory and add @Kulima to the "-mod=" switch of your ArmA shortcut's "Target" line.

  OH-58 Kiowa Warrior v2.5 released! Addon release    
Ryusu informed us that Eble aka Southy released a new beta version v2.5 of the OH-58 Kiowa Warrior on the BI Forums.

Here we go beta V2.5

Massive changes since last release

Thanks to Siltman/Gustave for the new Mast Mounted Sight and Optics
- modEmMaik for the revised GEO LOD (that makes the helicopters handle etc)
- SGT Savage and Anzac Steve for total reworking of the sounds/weapons upto Arma2 Standard 9You have to hear this thing now)
- Update of the Xm295 50.cal - credits to Alloisi (Marco) for the model

A big effort by a few people to drag this addon further along.

I also have big plans for the next release, at the moment the addon will split in two, one will be 100% ACE to make use of the ACE systems/weapons the other not dependent on anything.
