Description This "tool" allows you to place roads in a mission loaded and played from the mission editor. The accompanying console program provides a simple way for ArmA to read/write files, allowing you to export your road sections to file. You can then import these road sections into Visitor.
Installation 1) Extract the mission folder "RoadPainter.UTES" to your A2 profile's missions folder. -rename the folder extension (.UTES) to load the mission on other islands. 2) Extract the mod folder @HOMJ into your ArmA2 folder. 3) Extract the folder "RoadPainter" onto your P:\ drive.
OPTIONAL: -Make a shortcut to run P:\RoadPainter\HOMJ_RoadPainter.exe. -Make a shortcut to run ArmA with the following command parameters: -mod=@HOMJ -showScriptErrors -noSplash -window -x=(xRes) -y=(yRes) "C:\Users\(yourname)\Documents\ArmA 2 Other Profiles\(yourName)\missions\RoadPainter.(yourIsland)\mission.sqm" -This will load ArmA windowed and go straight to the Road Tool in the editor. This is what I have done in my youtube tutorial video. Replace the (...) parameters with your own.
Instructions/Usage -You must load the @HOMJ mod folder with ArmA2. -You must leave P:\RoadPainter\HOMJ_RoadPainter.exe running in the background to export files.
