ofcourse that there is a difference between 12Gauge and .50 cal magnum, 12Gauge has stronger propellant detonation
and about the Newton. Why do you think i created the recoiler on my launcher? simply for this that the kinetic energy would give a free fly for those who would use this launcher, ofcourse it will reduce velocity of projectile
PS: there is a prototype of this kind of weapon in Poland the only problem is that you need to go some of 150m to retrieve the recoiler

Still Newtons 3rd law of motion would apply..
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
And yeah.. the AT4 have a "shell", its a recoilless rifle.. and the warhead relies on chemical energy as opposed to kinetic energy of a apfsds round (And by chemical energy I mean a shape charge)
I'm not saying you shouldn't continue making this stuff.. I will never use it, but someone will..

well yes spas 15 is semi automatic but spas 12 is full auto, in my unit there was two of them and they were full auto (Maybe the civilian model is only semi auto)
about my launcher posibility
FFV AT-4 has a shells and its not a missile based launcher its more like grenade launcher, or even tank cannon with smaller shells
APFSDS-T stands for Armor Piercing, Fin Stabilized, Discarding Sabot-Tracer (Weight 16kg).
APFSDS-P stands for Armor Piercing, Fin Stabilized, Discarding Sabot-Hydrogen Plasma Propellant.
Shell is smaller and weights 5,5kg and the sabot projectile is still the same.
APFSDS(P) stands for Armor Piercing, Fin Stabilized, Discarding Sabot (practice).

Well.. the Spas-12 isn't full auto capable, its gas operated semi automatic.. ie you have to pull the trigger every shot.. same goes for the Spas-15.. The USAS-12 is full auto capable thought..
And I have fired a couple of thousand rounds thru H&K G3 and FN Mag in my days.. So my knowledge isn't based on movies

DON'T WATCH ANNY AMERICAN MOVIES AND LEARN MORE ABOUT WEAPONS AND PHYSICS AND THEN POST.
DO ANY OF YOU HELD AN ASSAULT RIFLE, FIRE FROM IT.
SPAS 12 HAS FULL AUTO MODE AND IT NOT MAKE ANY PROBLEM TO AIM IT.

But a light SMG with .50 Magnum would... pulverise your shoulder ?
