Addon : RCIR - RACS Reskins & Replacement

Content :
This pack contains an addon adding reskinned models for the RACS on the Independent side in a camouflage pattern suited to a temperate climate zone. It also contains a replacement config addon to alter the appearance of the default Independent side units to the type of fatigues worn by the reskinned units.

These units will appear in the editor on the Independent side under the vehicle class named RCIR - RACS, with the exception of the captive unit appearing on the civilian side under the vehicle class named RCIR - RACS. There is also a group class named RCIR - RACS in the group menu that gives the player the option to place a rifle squad with these units.

INSTALLATION :
The PBO and Sign files in the archive need to be extracted into your ArmA/Addons folder.
However the mod folder method is the better solution.

These units will appear in the editor on the Independent side under the vehicle class named RCIR - RACS, with the exception of the captive unit appearing on the civilian side under the vehicle class named RCIR - RACS. There is also a group class named RCIR - RACS in the group menu that gives the player the option to place a rifle squad with these units.



Installation:
-------------


(1) Copy the @RCIR folder from the folder named contains_the_addon into your ArmA folder. This will add the reskinned units as separate additional classes under side Independent, giving the player the option to continue using the default RACS units with their desert camouflage.

*** Step 2 is optional should you wish to alter the appearance of the default Independent side units ***

(2) Copy the rcir_racs_dpm_replacement.pbo from the folder named contains_the_replacement_config and place it in the @RCIR\Addons folder created in your Arma directory with the step above

(3) Adapt the startup line of your Armed Assault shortcut to include the -mod=@RCIR startup option
