Guys, I'd only just installed 1.11 yesterday, before realising that there was a new 1.12 patch release. I instantly noticed the difference in 1.11 and the game played great for 7 hours on a great server, no lag. The server admin came on and told us 1.12 was out and reset to patch up. I went and dl-ed as well. Now to my point.

The game played ok for about 3-4 hours, and then I started getting odd lag. I thought it may be my router, so dc-ed/reset/reconnnected. I started to get an odd bug where I'd load in the map and ppl said I had a 'memory error' and the towns we had captured were not done on my map, even though they were done on server. I had to dc/rc again. then players started to 'disapear' from my vision as I changed from 1st to 3rd view, as in become invisible, although their name would appear whenever I targeted their location. My ping during this stage was a nice 60-70.

Now I don;t know if this is a common problem, and being new to the beta patches I may have an other problem that has nothing to do with Beta, but just in case I thought I'd mention. If anyone else is having newfound problems with 1.12 please post here. Thanks.

P.S Thanks guys for all the work on patching. I for one, despite many of the bugs love this game, and don't want it to die. OFP had/still has one of the most loyal fanbases. Don't be ungrateful guys. I'm sure the guys at BIS are just as pissed with the bugs as we are and I don't think they meant it to happen this way. Peace.

Would you rather have a beta patch that changes things with each newer version or a final one with almost no testing that breaks more than it fixes?

I guess it is not possible to expect good work for our money?! We wait more than a year...

There are still game developers that bring out games with only view bugs and patch them in a month or two.
Alpha (or Beta) Assault from BIS not belong to them...

Quit your bitching. Would you rather have a beta patch that changes things with each newer version or a final one with almost no testing that breaks more than it fixes? You lot whine no matter what. I'm surprised they're still even supporting this ungreatful community.

Ok! More batatesting... When we do this and write error reports i guess BIS owe us money for the hard work.

But hey - with each beta ArmA becomes cheaper I suppose. :)
