The Invasion 1944 mod has pointed us to an update on their website, describing the future of their mod.
First and foremost, we would like to thank everyone that has expressed an interest in our mod, and has helped with, or responded to, the release in any way, including providing mirrors, posting feedback and reporting bugs.
Secondly, we'd like to inform the community about the road ahead a bit.
ArmA1
We plan to wrap up the work on the ArmA1 D-Day project after the release of the patch (1-3 weeks) we have planned. The patch will mainly contain bugfixes, and most importantly, will hopefully improve performance for most people. No new content will be added other than that which was planned already (new Sherman variants including the Firefly, and the M5A1 Stuart), with the exception of support trucks for the Americans to increase the multiplayer possibilities (German ones won't be added until ArmA2). After this we hope to move on to ArmA2.
ArmA2
For ArmA2, we do plan to port over the current ArmA1 content, and extend the map further into Normandy, but the D-Day project will not be expanded into Normandy in terms of extra content being added. Some missions, or even a campaign might be made, but other than that, the Normandy era is over.
We are planning a new project which will mainly be focused on MP as opposed to the SP focus we have had until now. The campaign will be designed for multiplayer Coop (but also playable in single player) with a dynamic storyline (i.e. secondary objectives), which will be at least partially fictionalized to suit gameplay requirements.
To create this campaign, we're looking for talented mission makers that are willing to dedicate themselves to the development of what we hope will be a unique taste of WW2. If you're interested, please register on [our forums], and apply!

Soviet artillery delivers their christmas greetings Featuring some of our shelled trees (which are still early WIP)
Its going to get really warm soon Here is again how lazy I am at staging screenshots, just one OT-130 and nobody else what-so-ever attacking? Sheesh...
Island is still same old, but we are making some progress and hopefully I have something to post in near future on that subject.

NZDF CRASH from the NZDF Mod published several new pictures of their latest work on the BI Forums
Hey all just a quick not on what ive done recently and to clear up on some people's views. I have done a complete new dpm pattern for the troops getting rid of the british colours snout had based the troops off and now more realistic i hope. Any suggestions needed in order to improve the textures will be taken aboard and implemented if possible.
Ive also done a new paint scheem on the rnzaf c130h invalidating the poor loooking blueish colour and now making it similar in colour to its realife equivalent as well as now being ace compatibe with flares and all.
Recently we attained permission from team kbt and cheyenne to use and modify the p3 orion into the rnzaf p3k with anti-sub,CAS and surveilance varients (dont laugh on occaision NZ does use the P3 on our bombing ranges as we no longer use any fast movers)
Once a couple of us get Arma2 we will try focus on making it work as it does in aa1, also just to clear this up we arent affiliated with VMA. (Map used is Padoga for the screenshots) Big thanks goes to Cheyenne,Rocket,wld427 and last but not least mankyle.
SMERSH informed us on our forums that the Liberation War 41-45 [SARMAT] released two new pictures of their work in progress PaK 40 made by talented addonmakers Ingeneer, and a IS-2 model by Ttam.
