Ota Vrtatko has informed us about the official reveal of Take On Mars. Bohemia Interactive prepares to go up, up, and away, into the stars, with Take On Mars, the new game in the Take On series.
Take On Mars places you in the seat of a Rover Operator, allowing you to control the various, fully simulated mobile Rovers and stationary Landers. With this scientific arsenal at your disposal, you will work your way through the numerous Science Missions in each location, unlocking the secrets of Mars' distant past. “Explore the scarred face of another world. Journey through rocky terrain and sandy wastes, pushing your vehicles to the max in this new installment to the Take On series.” Featuring 3 main gameplay modes, explore the unforgiving Martian terrain:
Space Program - Explore Mars from the perspective of a science-driven Space Agency. Develop new technologies, vehicles and instruments to tackle the tasks ahead.
Scenarios - Head straight to the surface of Mars and complete individual missions centered around various Science Missions and objectives.
Editor - Create scenarios with complex missions, or just play around with whatever you wish in this limitless, free-form mode.
The most notable features in Take On Mars include:
Dynamic destruction system – Break off cameras, robotic arms, even individual struts and wheels, all affecting the way the vehicle handles. Economy – Send missions to Mars with the budget you have available, raised by completing missions and individual tasks.
Realistic Terrain – Explore the surface of Mars in locations based on actual satellite data from locations such as Victoria Crater.
Last, but certainly not least, Take On Mars will be heavily aimed at modability, allowing users to create and share their own custom content, including scenarios, vehicles, and locations. Everything in the game is modifiable.

The Cold War Rearmed²-Team released new screenshots and videos of their Bell AH1 Cobra at the Bi-Forums.
"Hello dear Cold War Rearmed 2 fans, This week we got something new to present to you. Introducing, the good old – AH 1 Cobra Attack Helicopter!
Our crafty modeler, Max Power aka Theo or plaintif1, developed the model with the help of cold war Ah-1 pilot and scale modeller, CW4(Ret) Floyd S. Werner Jr.
Almost every detail is represented in some way. The exterior was painted with 4 layers of differently aged paint, including sun bleaching. Rotor tilt is animated to joystick input.
In the cockpit, all of the controls are recreated in every detail, every word of text was added by hand, and the full parallax HUD is as close to the function of the real thing as is possible in the OA engine."
The follwing video is showing an mission from CWR² .. or better OFP1! Can you remember it?

Deep Silver releases first Gameplay Trailer for the tactical first-person shooter Iron Front - Liberation 1944. This independent game is based upon Arma 2
About the game
The German campaign focuses on slowing the advance of the Soviet troops, while the Soviet campaign is all about breaking through the enemy's resistance. However, the player does not have to do all this on foot: Using their computers, tacticians will control tanks, including the famous German battle tank Panzerkampfwagen VI or "Königstiger" and the Russian Stalin tank JS2, or fighter planes such as the Focke Wulf 190 and dive bombers like the Stuka or the Petlyakov PE-2.
Online is where the battle really heats up in "Iron Front – Liberation 1944": Players can either complete missions cooperatively or compete with each other in special multiplayer modes such as "Capture the Flag" or "Attack and Defense". "Iron Front – Liberation 1944" also includes an extensive mission editor, enabling players to intuitively create their own missions and share them with their friends online, thus guaranteeing that there will never be a shortage of new missions.
