| Description : |
The island of Utes has a mostly Russian population and as such the Russian military can not condone the supposedly peace-keeping occupation of the island by the US military. A joint Russian Military operation involving a Russian Army infantry section and several Spetsnaz special forces operators has been put into action. The primary goals of this operation are to destabilize the USMC forces on the island and to make the USS Khe Sanh withdraw. This will also have a large negative effect on the US force's morale and give us time to manoeuvre a larger force into place against any future US aggression.
Your primary objective is to capture the airfield and use the USMC helicopter stationed there to infiltrate and attack any personnel found on the flight-deck of theUSS Khe Sanh. This will obviously not cause any significant physical damage to the carrier but it will inflict huge physiological damage.
To do this you will need to eliminate the USMC anti-air emplacements here and here otherwise there is a very high probability of being shot down.
Your optional secondary objectives are to destroy aUSMC radio post and clear the town of Strelkaof the USMC forces garrisoned there. Be warned that this is their main holding area so expect high resistance when carrying out this task.
