I agree with rok, it just looks the same to me...kinda like ArmA only better graphics. Until we know the full details about the game and new features, we are left to ponder this game's true capabilities.

LOL - Gotta love the South African accent. One can tell the vid is from a South African gaming site. (And yes the english girls there are that annoying)

The narrator is pretty much annoying, so I could only hear what's said for 5 seconds because I had to put the volume down, but I'm confident in BIS and looking forward to a "playable" campaign, in contrast to CWC or Resistance the ArmA campaign was more than ridiculous.
I just hope that:
1. The hw requirements will be close to ArmA or the engine gets optimized. Think of e.g. Fallout 3. Compared to Oblivion it runs like 30% faster, more stable and looks better without sacrificing performance.
Actually it runs better than my Oblivion installation.
2. We get a release date other than "2009" as it is practically a "when it's done" :p

I am absolutely confident in BIS and ArmA II, and I dare to say that when it comes out, it will be the military sim of the year! GO BIS! :P

Is this map a final and full map? If it is then Black Russia is 100% NOT island.
BTW: Creating non-islands maps would give new pissibilieties. It would be cool to fight on Omaha Beach with some WWII mod that really looks like Omaha Beach, not like some kind of "Omaha Island".

The fact you can see shore on 2 sides of the map doesnt make it island. ;)
Chernarus wont be an island, it is not decided what will be beyond the land borders yet. (at least it wasnt decided few weeks/months ago)
BTW Chernarus doesnt really literally mean Black Russia. Black Russia would be Černé Rusko but the inspiration sure is there (as Černá is pronounced as Cherna).
