  CSLA upcoming patch 2.10 Community    
EMSI from the ČSLA Studio has informed us about the upcoming CSLA patch 2.10 on the BI Forums.

Hi folks,
We are working now on upcoming patch 2.10 which will include also the new vehicle GM M1008 and some improvements on other existing models.
Also another MP mission Protectors (CTI style) will be included.
Stay tuned and don't forget on our ČSLA SP/MP competition 2011 !

  ČSLA SP/MP competition 2011 Community    


EMSI from CSLA Studio has informed us about the Arma 2:CO SP/MP missions competition opening on the BI Forums.

If you want to see your mission in our MOD released for the Arma 2:Combined Operations (A2+A2:OA), open your in-game editor and start with editing.
Themes for the missions are free, so you may create conflicts between the AFMC and ČSLA, ČSLA and FIA or NAPA etc. For detailed info see Basic rules below.
When the competition will be finished, we choose few best missions and they will be added into the any upcoming patch.
Authors will receive some ČSLA stuff awards.

Basic rules:
1. All missions must be designed in A2 or A2:OA games and there must be secured compatibility with A2:CO.
2. Preferred locations are community island Kulima by Acutres and official islands Chernarusia with Utes.
3. Please, don't use any other unofficial addons.
4. Number and types (SP/MP) of missions are not limited by the one author.
5. Minimal requested language for the subtitles in the missions is ENG (additional welcomed can be CZ/SK and all other "official" languages of course) and must be included in the XML file.
6. Dubbing for the missions is not requested (but welcomed in proper quality).
7. It's highly recomended to use only the original soundtrack from the both games.
8. Any conversions of SP/MP missions must have also written permission.


Competition will be finished at Monday, 1st of August 2011 and best missions will be chosen within Thursday, 1st of September 2011.



Awards (all with ČSLA logos):
1. place: fleece vest, T-shirt, cap and token
2. place: T-shirt, cap and token
3.-5. places: T-shirts and tokens
6.-10. places: tokens
Missions can be submitted via PM, Skype or directly through official thread on the BI forums.

  FDF Maneuvers Community    



Here are the last news from FDF Mod web site.

Following severe internal clashes on Podagorsk Finnish Defence Forces holds maneuvers for possible deployment to the conflict zone. Media has speculated that the deployment likely takes place “in the near future” and should that occur the FDF troops will operate under the NATO-led coalition with UN mandate.

The latest incarnation of FDFmod will require up to date version of both ARMA 2 and Operation Arrowhead.

  Invasion 1944 Screenshot Competition Community    

I44 Guy from Invasion 1944 Mod has informed us about Invasion 1944 Screenshot Competition.

Hello community!

We here at Invasion1944 have decided to host a screenshot competition for you as invasion1944 fans. Its quite simple really, get in-game, take some guuchi screenshots and post them in the forums, the competition lasts for two weeks after the release date.

The 5 winning entries will feature as Loading screens for the mod, Forever immortalising your hard work!

Don't be afraid of your snapping skills and post whatever you can! This is YOUR opportunity to be a part of one of the most anticipated mods of ArmA2. Your winning screenshots will be released in the next patch for all to see when they load into their favourite game.

So, what are you waiting for, get cracking!

Details:

-Lasts for two weeks as of the release of the mod.

Sickboy has informed us about the ACE ongoing development on the ACE site as v1.6 Stable Release is upcoming.

Another ACE WIP Roundup, this time for Friday's upcoming 1.6 RC2!

Hey guys, I have made a really good and in-depth guide to commanding your AI subordinates I cover every aspect of the command interface in the game in regards to the AI and the response to your orders. All command sub menus are covered extensively and I have lots of footage I am in video editing now which is taking alot of time to do.

Basically I have gone through all of the commands you can issue to your AI subordinates and have some situations in combat where you can observe their reactions... Everything from suppressive fire, the combat modes and how they work, the assign team function and its uses, I have everything covered for you.

I'm in the process now of editing the videos and uploading... Because of the sheer massive size of the video guide. I have decided to just split the video up by sub menus covered. It seems that everything has a beginning must one day have an end. After 3 years of attempting to provide a space for exchange and sharing community for ArmA, it is time now to be gained by fatigue.

Thus it is time for your servants to move on, and to announce the imminent closure of ArmA-Fr.net.

Unpretentious no, I am aware of the void that closing may cause to the community en is why I remain attentive to your remarks (relevant):
- About the initiatives that some of you may have to create a new community site fr.
- About the ways possible to keep read-only archive of valuable forum ofp-fr,-en arma thereafter.

If it emerges that no one has enough motivation to start a new adventure of this kind, I'm afraid there is no way to maintain online resources, facing a French community It must be admitted, on the decline.
