BIS has released MLOD versions of all of the models included in ArmA, so that addonmakers can use them. The EULA contains some important differences from that of the selection of MLOD models released earlier. Please make sure you read and agree to the terms in the EULA before using them.
Armedassault.info would like to thank BIS for once again supporting the community! :)

Yes, indeed ArmedAssault.info is looking for new team members. Do you want to give something back an the OFP/ArmA community that has provided you with hundreds of thousands addons and missions?
Yes? Then become a part of our team and inform the Armed Assault community about the latest news and releases. Our websites have been around since the beginning of OFP and without dedicated staff members we wouldn't be as successful as we are today. That's why we are asking you to join the crew. Believe me, posting news/addons/missions is something everybody can do, no previous knowledge is required and if you encounter a problem the team will help you out.
In particular we are looking for :
- Mission Section Admins - Translators for the Russian/German/Czech and French section - News Spotters - News Posters
Simply click on the jobs to find out more about your possible tasks.
If you are interested or do have questions simply PM or E-mail Deadeye or apply in this thread.
BTW : If you do want to apply please add a little information about yourself (nothing too personal, only stuff like i-net connection, age and your private motives for applying)
We hope to hear from you soon
The ArmedAssault.info Team

agamoth from the Band of Brothers Mod has posted some pictures of his Resistance Units, a side project of his on the BI forums.
I have been working on these for a few days and thought it was time to get some opinions on them
I was getting a little tired of resistance units always being either close to ofpr or some middle-eastern insurgents... I was inspired by movies and games, like Half-life2, Freedom Fighters, Equilibrium and so on

Today, telejunky, known as one of the admins of the german arma-site Armabase.de browsed through the official Bistudio.com website and surprisingly found some interesting news.
The title of the news content was called "ARMA Surround Gaming" and it contains the announcement of ArmA being chosen "the Game Of The Month featuring TripleHead2Go support on Matrox Surround Gaming website". On their website you can find a small "sneak peek" of the possibility that the successor ArmA 2 can handle this technology, too. But not everyone is willed and/or able to pay for the box and the cutting edge graphiccards which could handle ArmA2 played with everything maxed out with a resolution of 3840x1024, if you would use 17 inch TFTs...but still it is interesting to see what ArmA 2 will be capable of.
On a sidenote : If you've watched the screens closely you may have spotted the V-22 Osprey ingame.

He also had the following to say:
"Yes, we are going back to our roots, the fields of glory, and we’re gonna keep it short and sweet. No long term plans, just a gathering of old buddies doing what they do best, and having fun...
