  [Betatest] GBU-43/B "MOAB" Addon release    
Myke has released an beta test version of his GBU-43/B, the mother of all bombs on the BI-Forums.

This is a scripttest for the destruction radius of the upcoming GBU-43/B (aka "Mother of all bombs"). There is no sound yet and the destruction was not initiated by the bomb itself.
Total destruction radius is 200m, effect radius is 400m.

General functions:
The GBU-43/b is not loaded like other weapons usually are. Instead you'll find the bomb itself under "empty -> GLT -MOAB" as editorplaceable object. This is also how it's meant to be used.
This way also auto-restricts the amount of usable MOAB's since there is no auto-rearming like with usual vehicle weapons.

So place the GBU-43/B on a airfield, place a C-130J nearby. Step up to the bomb and you should get a action menu to load the bomb into the plane.
Once loaded, the C-130J will have a "Unload GB-43/B" action for the case you change your mind.
Loading a GBU-43/B will disable cargo space and vice versa, if someone is in cargo space, you can't load the bomb.

Although the real GBU-43/B is GPS-guided, this version here is laserguided. If you can provide a proper working target selecting and guidance system, be my guest. Until then you have to live with the non-realistic laser guidance.

  Warfare V2_060Lite @ ACE on Tropica Mission release    

Gutm@sher has informed us about the release of a Warfare V2_060Lite @ACE Tropica mission.

There are 33 capture points total but towns amount parameter is functional for smaller battles. Note that mg nests have been removed and replaced with ZU-23 as spawned town defense. They are not at every town, just select locations. Hope you enjoy!

  Sigma Vehicle Pack v2.2 released Addon release    
i3luevein has released the much loved ARMA 1 vehicle pack Sigma Vehicle Pack v2.0 now for ArmA2 on the BI-Forums.

Sigma kindly allowed the Dev Team over at City Life RPG MOD to port his much loved ARMA 1 vehicle pack over to ARMA 2 which myself, ArMaTeC and Fraser have been spending many hours converting, saving, uploading and testing.
The pretence of us converting this pack was to release them as soon as they are finished to the ARMA 2 community and up to our high standard and the standard Sigma would expect.

  [SP/Co-5] Baghdad Police Station - Update Mission release    

Kruger. has released version 1.1 of his sp/coop mission Baghdad Police Station on the BI-Forums.

The 31st Infantry Division
The main police station in Baghdad was attacked at 1200 hours. Iraqi insurgents have beheaded the police chief Abdul Basir and killed many iraqi policemen. Fierce battles have been raging all over the city since the attack. Your Fireteam has been asssigned the task of securing the police station and eliminating all hostiles you may encounter.

Kruger. has released his SP/CooP mission Election Day on the BI-Forums.

Its election day in Iraq and your job is to make sure its a safe day for all the Iraqi voters. Most of these people still dont trust us but at the same time they are anxious to practice their new right and cast their votes. Insurgent groups might try to disrupt the election to support those who would not benefit from it.

  ArmA2 : Patch 1.07 released Official    
Maruk, BI CEO, has informed the community about the release of an unexpected 1.07 ArmA2 Patch on the BI forums. In fact 2 patches are released : with the first you can update any ArmA2 1.00 original release version, with the second one, you can update a current 1.05 version to 1.07.

Arma 2 Update 1.07 is coming today.

Please note that Linux server 1.07 is going to be released later, more likely on Monday but we decided to release the update now to move ahead towards release of Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead.

I would like to thank everyone for their support over the past few months with testing and improving this update.

WINSE has released the coop mission Evolution: Free For All on the BI-Forums.

Mission has already been played on Russian servers for some months. Now was decided to publish it here.

The main goal of the mission is to clear Chernarus from invaders. You will have to fight hard for towns. Enemy will fire to death, constantly calling reinforcements and attacking your base.

  ACE AD 42 City Assasination - Update to v1.02 Mission release    

galzohar has released version 1.02 of his mp mission ACE AD 42 City Assasination on the BI-Forums.

This mission takes place in the city I made on the airfield in Chernarus (same as in ACE Co 05 Patrol City). In this team vs team mission a lot of civilians are running around while the terrorists (who look the same as civilians) need to make their way to assassinate an informant, while the American special forces need to defend him.
Updated to 1.02:
Fixed priority in action menu (checking for weapons is now priority 10) and slightly revised some scripts.

  Isla Duala 1.7 released Addon release    

IceBreakr has released v1.7 of his Isla Duala island on the BI Forums.

- upgraded and optimized clutter for jungle and also savannah
- removed two bridges and replaced with crossings compatible with AI but can also be "jumped" across by boats
- moved hangar at Molatian Intl Airport near taxiway so larger planes can now navigate it
